Blazer Residence — Hotel in Larnaca

Where to begin - first of all, there are TWO hotels in that place. One is of a higher standard (Blazer Residence), the other is of a lower standard (Attic City Apartments) but both managed by the same staff. We stayed in Attic City Apt, booked the room including the day of the arrival, even though we landed at 3 am. However, when we arrived, our room was not available for the first night (they checked someone else in it), so we were relocated to another one that had just been checked out by other guests. It was not cleaned after they left, the sheets were changed when we arrived. After the first night, we were relocated to another room that was in really bad shape. We asked to be moved to another one, during the process we were gaslighted by one of the staff (a very unpleasant woman) and told to get a juice and relax. Finally, after hours of waiting, we got to the dedicated room, but that was not the end of surprises as we found a cockroach at night.

To sum up the whole experience - there is a reason there are no pics of the bathroom, the facilities in the rooms don't look like in pictures (it's more damaged in reality and the wardrobe is literally just a frame of one with a couple of shelves), and not to mention cleanliness that was below criticism (even though the room smelled of chlorine, the surfaces were sticky, bathroom was not cleaned except for floors and changing the towels on a random basis, and you can see the residue on bathroom faucets, etc. after years of keeping cleaning on the bare minimum). First day we came there was no warm water at all it was ice cold. Wifi doesn't work inside the room. Since cyprus useses different kind of electrical socket then in the rest of the Europe we couldn't charge anything and they didn't have any adapters. On their website they say they have iron which they don't. There were no glasses in the whole room. Worst thing is that air conditioner is totally broken and leavs tons of water from it. We found that out the hard way after we slept for the whole night while air conditioner was on once we woke up whole table under the air conditioner was in water with our laptop and wallets totally socked in water. After I told management about it all they said was we will fix the air conditioner (which they didn't) and after i told them about laptop and wallets all they had to say was "Oh my god" and went about their business as...

The experience of staying in this hotel was not satisfying.

Dirty bathroom, dusty room. You can't use wifi in your bedroom, it's extremely poor. Noisy! Outside the hotel some construction process starts at 7 in the morning. You can't use lamps and other electrical tools because the hotel doesn't care about this issue I guess. They gave me one adapter, but why cant't they supply their guests with the adapters for every device? I could charge only one thing at a time. The furniture is very old, there are no doors on the wardrobe for example. The shower was licking but they fixed it, but why not check it before I moved in? The cleaning lady forgot to give me new soap (2 days) so I had to call them and ask for the soap. Sometimes there was no cleaning at all. But one manager was very helpful, she gave me a kettle when I asked for it and...
