Library Bar — Restaurant in Limassol Municipality

A nice relaxed bar at the center of Limassol. There is plenty of space with many tables and it's a good place for chatting, as the music it's not loud. But they need to improve some things. We were 2 people and had a reservation on Saturday early night, so many tables were still available when we have arrived. They put us at the smallest table they could find on the piano area, while there were other more comfortable tables free and although I have requested to put us at another table, nothing happened. Then, my cocktail was not what I was expecting: although the taste was nice, it came at a small waterglass (looking like cheap plastic cup), with five blocks of ice cubes, which were freezing my lip, when I was trying to have a sip. I’ve been visiting The Library bar since 2016, and I can say that this is my favourite spot in the city. The atmosphere is absolutely fantastic – it strikes the perfect balance between cozy and lively, making it great for both a casual night out or a celebratory evening with friends.

The food is simply delicious! I would suggest you try the Med pizza and the burgers. Also the roasted almonds. Regarding the drinks, they offer you the option of alcoholic or non alcoholic beverages.

The service is exceptional, and the staff really makes the experience stand out. They're not only friendly and attentive, but they genuinely make you feel at home.

Lady who manages bookings refused to seat me at my reserved seat because I came alone and table was for 2. There were 2 empty tables, after the performance started.

I explained I'm seeing my friend perform and I will be ordering food, so I need a table, at which point they informed me I can "eat at the bar".

I reluctantly sat at the bar - waited 20 mins or so, and before leaving, noticed both tables were empty.

It's apparent they have a policy of stuffing as many people as possible, so don't come alone or you will be treated like a second rate citizen.
