Vibe: Relaxed , Ambience: 4/5, Price:€€€, Service: 3/5 ▫️Greek Salad: 4/5 The salad was fresh, tasty and enjoyed how finely chopped the cucumbers and tomatoes were. ▫️Giant beans with vegan feta 4/5: the sauce was tasty and the beans were cooked great. Liked the fact that they added spinach for extra iron and the vegan feta. The finely chopped veggies on top gave an extra crunch. ▫️Beef curry 4/5: great flavors and actually has a bit of a spice kick. (Which you appreciate when you like spicy foods) ▫️Tuna filet: Wonderfully cooked, tasty and nutritious. Serving it with wild rice and finely chopped veggies makes it even more filling. Overall 4/5: would definitely revisit. It’s the place to go when you crave homemade flavors for lunch and it will not disappoint. They always have great vegan options and during the weekends they serve brunch and lunch options accommodating everyone’s appetite. Service needs a bit more fine tuning during the weekends. ▫️ Vegan musaka: 4/5 flavorful and filling. One of the best vegan dishes you will have. Veggies are cut into tiny pieces and the sauce is really tasty. The ‘fake/vegan béchamel’ on top has nothing to be jealous of the dairy/real ones. ▫️ King Prawn Satay: 4/5 prawns were of good quality and perfectly cooked. Sauce was excellent and flavorful; rice was...
Read morenice concept but awfully performed, or we were unlucky (either way, don't want to come anymore). first of all, in empty place you don't want to ask people to change the table for a smaller one. we were 2 and first took a 4 persons table, being loaded with couple of bags, which we eventually had to put on the ground. i understand when it's packed, but with 3 tables taken?? a bit rude, let's say. second, if you offer coconut milk for coffee, make sure it's not cheap undrinkable liquid, please. no foam whatsoever, no hint of milkiness. take alpro barista and here you go... i ordered latte (although usually go for cappuccino) just because my friend's coffee did not look good and was too black for cappuccino. soooo my coffee looked even worse! the waiter spilled it over the top and did not care to change or apologize, so it was served in its own puddle. and when i complained that it was too bitter and hard to drink (for latte) the waiter brought sugar... it's not a way to fix it, bro. undrinkable totally poached eggs are supposed to have liquid yolk but not the white... bun tasted like an old one. very disappointing experience. 1 star more than it really is – just for concept and cosy...
Read moreIt is rare that a Chef’s or restaurant owner’s passion for quality translates into true excellence. Apron is such a rare case! The ingredients are garden fresh, the combinations of elements on the various offerings are inspired (plumbs and balsamic vinegar with a touch of vanilla jam), and the recipes handed down from past generations and reimagined with Christina’s unique eye of what is contemporary and delicious. Without a doubt the best espresso coffee in Nicosia and perhaps Cyprus. Christina sources fresh coffee beans from what is arguably the best roasters in Nicosia and entrusts them to her professionally-trained baristas while she insists that the coffee machine is descaled (from the harsh Cypriot water) daily. This a level of care that is rare in the world and unprecedented in Cyprus. Now, let me share a few words about their Hamburger (only available on weekends). Better yet, and given that pictures are worth more than a few words, I attach the before and after. Don’t just come to Apron. Make it your regular hangout. The owner and staff are lovely and gracious, the coffee outstanding, and the food...
