If you’re a pizza lover, this outdoor spot is a must-visit! After trying multiple options from their menu, I can confidently say this place knows how to deliver quality pizza, starting with their unbelievably fluffy dough—soft, airy, and the perfect base for their creative toppings.
🌶️The “La Bandiera” was a fresh and zesty option, with marinara, creamy burrata, peppery rucola, and a hint of heat from chili flakes, all balanced with a drizzle of balsamic. A delightful combination, especially for those who enjoy a light and tangy pizza.
🍄🟫The “Tartufo” pizza has a special place in my heart (and tummy!). The earthy richness of the truffle cream, combined with mushrooms and rucola, created a luxurious flavor profile. Every bite was indulgent yet well-balanced.
🥓Another favorite of mine was the “Prosciutto Pecorino.” The salty, savory mix of crudo, pecorino romano, and mozzarella, combined with the tangy marinara and rucola, made this pizza an instant classic.
🍕Finally, the “La Finocchiona” was another unique offering. We opted to remove the red onions, and it still delivered. The creamy ricotta paired beautifully with the fresh oregano, salami, and finocchiona, all tied together with a subtle kick from the hot honey.
🍺We also tried the ΣΑΝΤΥ beer, which was light and refreshing—perfect for pairing with the pizzas
While the pizzas are undeniably amazing, there are some downsides. 🎵The loud music doesn’t quite fit the relaxed, outdoor vibe, which detracts from the experience. 🪑Additionally, the seating area is limited and doesn’t seem well thought out. The outdoor space has so much potential and could be reclaimed in a way that would elevate the spot significantly.
That said, the Tartufo and the Prosciutto Pecorino alone make it worth a visit. The combination of fluffy dough, fresh ingredients, and bold flavors is hard to beat, and with a few tweaks to the ambiance and seating, this spot could...
Read moreGuido and the goose is an amazing pizza spot located in the heart of Nicosia. The vibe is chill and the whole atmosphere very street like. The staff is very friendly and the background music ideal for this type of restaurant.
The pizza is excellent. All the ingredients they use are top quality and they might serve the best pizza I had in Nicosia and believe me I tried many different places that serve pizza. The dough is supper thin and perfectly cooked and the ends are chewy just how i like it.
My favorite was the margarita pizza. Simple, classic and delicious with a flavorful tomato sauce, fresh mozzarella drizzled with extra virgin olive oil cheese. I’ ve been to Italy 4 times and I had some really good pizza there This margarita was so authentic and definitely among the best pizzas I had even in Italy.
I also enjoyed the truffle pizza which had the perfect ratio of cheese and truffle without being too heavy. The pizza with mortadella, pesto and pistachios was quite interesting and i have never tasted anything similar. It was tasty and if you love pistachios and pesto you should definitely give it a try.
Only negative is that the prices are a bit too high for the size of the pizzas as they are quite small.
I would definitely revisit especially for that margarita which was even better than some of the pizzas I had when I...
Read moreThe place offers a charming atmosphere, enhanced by the recently renovated streets and the pleasant canopy overhead is nice for a casual meal. However, the inexplicable 30-minute waiting time for our pizzas did little to add to the experience and left us wondering if the delay would be justified by the quality of the food.
Unfortunately, the food did not live up to expectations. The pizza dough was bland, tasteless, and unevenly cooked, missing the signature tiger marks and the juicy, flavorful center that one expects from a well-prepared pizza. The tomato sauce, mozzarella and ingredients were equally uninspiring, offering little depth or richness. We tried various versions like pesto, spicy salami, and margherita, but none captured the essential tastes they should have, failing to highlight the ingredients.
As someone who has enjoyed authentic Italian pizzas across the world, I can confidently say these pies are not worth the premium price. Given the quality of the cooking, they would be more reasonably priced around 6 to 7 euros each. The long wait time and lackluster execution demand significant...
