We decided not to check reviews before we chose a place. I wish we had... nothing good to say about this place! Waited a long time just to get menus, then waited longer to get served... then about the same amount of time to get some drinks (don't ask for coffee, as they don't serve it, even though it's on the menu). When the food finally arrived, it came without cutlery... when I asked for a knife and fork, rather than just give them to me, the waiter I asked decided to shout and argue with people in the kitchen whilst holding them in his hand. The food finally came (without sausage because they didn't have any of that wisher) and it was pretty much inedible. The sandwich had congealed cheese and what seemed like the cheap sliced ham... the meat was cooked far too close to an open flame, so it has a horrible taste... and the pork actually tasted a bit rancid (which might be a reason for the number of flies swarming around the food when it came). First photo was of the food when it arrived, second was what I left.

We sat here after we made an impromptu trip to Omodos on a Sunday, without a reservation at any of the more popular tavernas of the village. They had available tables and it’s not hard to see why. Food was very mediocre; chicken souvla and pork souvlaki were really dry and a bit cold coming out. Not worth the ~25€ per person (without drinks). What made our dining a 2-star experience though, were the swarms of flies we had to constantly swat away throughout the meal (See at least 5 flies on our chicken in the picture below). The servers were nice, but other than that there’s not much merit to this place. Don’t recommend it. Such a shame because it is in right in the middle of the square and could be such a hit.

Be careful, if you’re vegetarian and want to order the vegetarian platter (which is allegedly approved by some vegetarian society). one of the sauces has fish in it which you can taste immediately. i asked the waiter about it and he just said that vegetarians eat fish and that his mom is vegan and knows about these things. lol. literally said that i could have a little fish as a vegetarian cause it’s not meat. first time i had fish in four years, not what i had in mind. my friends ordered the chicken souvlaki and all three of them were really unhappy with their dish. but the fries were decent. do yourself a favor and skip this one
