Hands down one of the best meals I've ever had in Cyprus ! The place was empty when we came there (winter midweek afternoon) and I was not even sure whether we should stay there, or go elsewhere, but luckily we decided to give it a try and we were sooo pleasantly surprised ! Awesome "Village Salad", with fresh vegetables, superb Feta cheese and a mountain of delicious capers, accompanied by fresh bread , tahini and creamy village yoghurt, followed by succulent and juicy Pork chops and Lamb chops (delicious beyond words). . This traditional restaurant is literally tucked away in a nowhere location after passing through the tourist spots. Upon requesting the restaurant's recommendations, we’re pleasantly surprised with a trio of delectable dishes like stifado, afilia braised pork, okra stew and koupepia stuffed vine. We went there because of the rating, but we where disappointed by the food portions and quality. The food was served immediately and NOT fresh. We paid 90€ for 4 people and they brought us 4 pieces of meat in each portion. The plates where not clean when the food was served and they also brought us bad bread with mold on the sides. The dessert served at the end was very hard, impossible to chew, and it seemed like it was also made a week ago. We are very disappointed and we are definitely not returning there and we are not recommending...
