Been twice now; February 2025 and March 2025. The service the first time was "okay", slow, a bit confsed, but mostly saved by the fact the place wasn't busy (lunch time on a Wednesday). The menu wasn't fully available; not uncommon at that time of year, but not being informed when you order is a sign of poor organization as the wait staff should know what's available when you order. The food then came at different times, so that 2 people got their food when the others had already finished. A place with these prices and aiming at more discerning clients should get that right. The verdict on the food was mixed, mostly with the price just not matching what you get (apart from the burger).
The second visit was in March 2025. Sunday lunchtime and with good weather. Busy place but we got a table right away. After 25 minutes, we still had not managed to place an order. We asked passing staff several times only to be told "coming...". One waiter was more concerned with talking for minutes at a time to a table of very young girls, to highlight the professionalism encountered. The last time that we asked about being able to order, the waiter rolled his eyes and walked off and we heard him mutter "Áte gamoto", which I won't translate, but despite the fact that we were speaking English, we all understand (and speak) Greek perfectly...we left immediately.
This place lacks proper management and organization and perhaps they should hire people who can...

Read moreThe Regatta is new to Oroklini and replaced the Goldfish which whilst very popular with locals, was little more than a shack.
The good points are that it looks amazing. The decor is lovely and they've made it look really nice. Could not fault the design.
Prices however for drinks are expensive. We paid ten euros for two soft drinks, which whilst not extortionate, is more than surrounding competitors. My biggest disappointment however was with the sunbeds. When we went to sit on them, we were told the price was fifty euros for two beds! Considering that it was already three thirty in the afternoon, we left pretty hastily.
Very odd pricing there. It's August and there was not one person on their many sunbeds. If we'd stayed, we'd have ordered more drinks and snacks, so I do wonder whether such high pricing is counter intuitive. Considering too that the Mercure and Radisson hotels (four star and five star respectively), which are just a few minutes walk down the beach, allow customers of their bar and restaurant to use their sunbeds and pool for free (with some limitations on weekends), it's very out of step with the pricing of the local area. One would think themselves in Mykonos and not in a very quiet...
