The Forest Breakfast Brunch Lunch — Restaurant in Pyla

I recently had the opportunity to visit The Forest Breakfast Brunch Lunch in Oroklini with my wife for breakfast. Overall, our experience was decent, but with a few notable flaws.

The food was a highlight - the portions were enormous and the taste was good, which is always a plus. However, our food arrived late, which meant that it had gone cold by the time we got to eat it. I understand that this can happen in busy restaurants, but it's always frustrating when you're waiting for your food to arrive.

The staff were polite and friendly, but unfortunately, they were also quite slow in taking our order and serving our food. This was a bit of a letdown, as it made the experience feel a bit more like a chore than a pleasure.

The biggest issue with our visit, however, was the cleanliness of the restaurant. Unfortunately, The Forest Breakfast Brunch Lunch fell short in this department. The dining area was not particularly clean, and the toilets were in a sad state - not only were they not cleaned, but there was also no toilet paper available. This was a major disappointment, and it's something that needs to be addressed urgently.

All in all, while The Forest Breakfast Brunch Lunch has some good qualities, it's clear that it needs to work on its service and cleanliness if it's going to live up to its potential. If you do decide to visit, be prepared for large portions and good-tasting food, but also bring some patience and a sense of humor.

We visited this place ~3 months ago. We had a birthday to celebrate with some friends and decided to come here. To be honest, it's not something we would come back for. The food was ok-ish but not as good as expected and regarding the price(s), it was one of the most expensive lunches we had in Larnaca & Nicosia and it didn’t reflect the quality/quantity. There wasn’t a real atmosphere, it was more like a coffee shop. I don’t mind that, but we visited nicer places for lower prices.

A big NO for me is that they include a 10% service fee. This is ridiculous! It’s not something that is done regularly in Cyprus, and it doesn’t feel good when your client spends over 120 euros.

The good thing is that there was space for us, without a reservation. The waitress gave us the menu, we ordered the food and it was on our table ~20 minutes later. Not that bad, to be honest. The portions are not big (unfortunately). The kids did like their pancakes, so that's again a plus.

Regarding the service fee, the owner comments that there was/was a sign on the reviews. But that sign is not obvious at all. It is not facing towards the clients but towards the wall, I find that a way of scalping your clients.

For me, as long as they have this service fee included, it’s a no-go for me, and I can’t...

Having been in Cyprus for 2 months now - I was craving a Full English Breakfast... What are the chances of finding somewhere that would answer my wishes. Well ‘The Forest Kitchen’ is the place to have an amazing English Breakfast! The one I had was called the 'Sean Connery at around €10.90 and boy was I full afterwards 🤣 There were other types of breakfast like Telly Savalas, USA Breakfast, Breakfast Wrap and even the Vegetarion Breakfast all around the same price. So great value for money. The location was great… Far enough from the road so you could even talk in a whisper - but you could still watch the world go by. Sitting outside under cover you had the amazing sea breeze that kept you cool in the shade - great to have a 2nd coffee and digest your breakfast. Also a great plus was the parking not just outside but the massive parking area next door shared with other restaurants and shops. Cannot recommend them enough not just because of the food but the ultra friendly staff! So any British craving an English Breakfast like me then this is the must place to visit… I know I will be going...
