I don’t usually leave reviews however was thoroughly disappointed with my meal. This was the worst meal I had on my 4 night stay to Larnaca.
I ordered the fillet steak and asked explicitly for it to be medium rare. It came pretty much well done. I told the lady when she came to ask how the food was and it was clear that she wasn’t accepting any blame. At that point I decided it wasn’t worth the hassle.
This happened despite me repetitively asking to ensure the steak was done to medium rare. In future, if staff cannot understand a request or cannot fulfil the request, they should’ve politely said that they could not do this and I would’ve picked something else off of their very extensive menu.
I’m leaving two stars as the service was otherwise good but the steak was ruined. They’ll read this thinking ‘why didn’t he say something’, oh I did…it just was met with ‘it’s been cooked the way you asked…bloody’…no it wasn’t. It...
Read moreThere are really delicious dishes of Lebanese cuisine. We tried almost everything. I liked the falafel the most, it is really tasty here. Also tabouleh, fattoush salads. If you are hungry, I advise you to order a Lebanese plate. All dishes will be served there and you will be able to try everything. It is especially convenient to order such a menu for a company. The restaurant also offers a French menu, but for some reason we didn't really like the dishes. We ordered a steak, but the meat was a bit tough. In general, there is a pleasant quiet atmosphere here, everything is decorated like a restaurant and the service is the same. You feel very comfortable here, especially it’s very cozy in winter time when it’s windy outside and you sit inside with your family. The table is full of dishes. And you share them with each other, talk, eat, drink...
Read moreDon’t come here if you’re a falafel lover as it is aggressively bland. I think the least seasoned falafel I’ve ever had and I’ve eaten falafel from many countries, including ones in the Middle East. The pita was tough and a bit hard to chew. Lots of lettuce. Cut up German pickles, nothing with any special effort. You can barely taste the tahini and when you can it’s again basic and nothing special. The falafel has very little seasoning or taste of garlic or onion. It’s just there. And then we’ve got some tomato. It did have a little bit of fresh mint, which was nice, but not enough to save the blandness. Eating it felt like the same experience of just taking a food pill. Maybe their other food is great but they clearly do not know how to or care to make a good...
