TOTAL SCAM AND DISAPPOINTMENT!!! READ THIS REVIEW AND THOSE FROM THE OTHERS AND NEVER EVER VISIT THIS PLACE! We made a reservation for Christmas Eve on the phone and when we got there and were seated, the owner told us that there was a special pumpkin soup and a dessert for the day and that we could order anything from the menu. It sounded like these were on the house because when we got the tiny soup SERVED IN A CUP and the super small dessert in one plate for 4 people to share, they really seemed like the compliments they serve everywhere else in Cyprus. We ordered enough food for 4 people (a side note: meat and fries were served absolutely cold) for about € 70, a bottle of wine for € 23, ouzo and water. We were really shocked to get a € 180 bill saying ‘4 FOOD - € 140’ in the end. When asking them to explain, they replied there was a special Christmas set menu that day (only food included). All good, but we were never told about it and its price. We kindly asked them to change it, so that we pay for what we’ve consumed because it seemed like we had to pay extra € 80 for something we never had. Believe me we are those people who give good amount of tips, but the owner’s attitude made us feel really disappointed and deceived. Not only did he lie about mentioning the price of the set menu when making the reservation or having seated us, but at first he refused to accept us paying for what we’ve had. Eventually he agreed on doing so, but included the soups and desserts on the new bill, so that we paid for the ridiculously small starter and dessert that they use as a compliment in Cyprus the even more ridiculous amount of € 40, so that he gets what he wants. GUYS, THIS IS DEFINITELY NOT HOW YOU SHOULD DO IT ON CHRISTMAS EVE. A...
Read moreUnfortunately complete disaster, do not recommend. After arriving, we received menus, in which there was no beverages at all. We asked for menu with drinks and we received completely different ones. We placed orders from both menus, pointing with fingers the items which we wanted. Should be easy. In menu it was written that the dishes are coming with potato’s and salad, which was confirmed with the waitress who seemed to understand everything we wanted. The food stared to arrive in small gaps, none of the dishes came with potato’s. After trying to have a conversation with a waitress we were told she’s not speaking English and she’s new here. The restaurant was empty, we were the only table, why was she let to take orders from English speaking customers at all? Later on they told us that we were given breakfast menu, but it was written “lunch menu” on it? Complete confusion, and looks like the stuff did not know what they are doing there. The prices did not match at all to those written in the menus. Few items was taken out of the bill, some side dishes were given to us after our plates with main courses were empty. We received an apologies, potato’s for free, and a plate of fruits on the house. I would rather have things from the menu on time with the side dishes together than all this. Probably would be much better somewhere else, and stuff from this restaurant should be retrained from simple things, like what kind of menu applies at what time of the day, or what side dishes are served with what? Not to mention, that the prices from the menu should match those...
Read moreDon’t think the prices from the menu matched the bill? We had a small salad (€6.90), oyster mushrooms (€8.90), 2 small zucchini croquettes (€4.50), the grilled fish of the day - waiter did not tell us the price, half a Greek sausage (€5.90 without any accompaniments!), a €22 bottle of wine and two small 200ml bottles of raki (€14 each). Bill came to €110! I guess a piece of dry, overcooked fish must have come to €34! They did give us some bread at the start which we assumed was free but may not have been. We also noticed that some tables were offered some watermelon at the end of the meal but we were not. Unsure why. Would not recommend. Horribly overpriced. Mushrooms were too acidic to taste anything. It was also a small portion of for €9. Salad was ok. Zucchini balls were more flour than zucchini. Greek sausage was tasty but only half a sausage at €5.90 was a bit steep. Salad was ok. Fish was so dry and overcooked. There was some live music which was nice. Waiters were quick to...
