Going to Rum and Jam Bar in Paphos, Cyprus, is like finding a happy place where the drinks take you on a sweet, exciting adventure. The place has a warm and welcoming feel, making both local people and visitors feel at home. Here, you can enjoy good drinks and have a good time with friends.

The star of the show is, undoubtedly, the Rum and Jam cocktail. A melodic blend of tropical flair, sweetness, and a robust kick of rum, it tantalises the taste buds with every sip, leaving a trail of blissful satisfaction. The cocktail menu, robust yet thoughtfully curated, ensures everyone finds their own liquid treasure.

The staff's friendliness and attentiveness are like the gentle, comforting breeze under the Cypriot moon, making the experience more than just about the drinks. Their hospitality resonates through the night, ensuring each guest is attended to with a blend of professionalism and warm courtesy.

But the heart of Rum and Jam's allure lies in its co-owner, Andreas. His gesture of offering local shots at our table was not just a toast to the night but an invitation to the Cypriot culture. His knowledge about the local produce, especially the exotic carob fruit, provided a unique, educational twist to our visit. The sweet carob syrup was a delightful discovery, embodying the rich, earthy essence of Cyprus in a simple taste. Andreas didn't just serve drinks; he opened up a dialogue, sharing valuable tips about enjoying Cyprus to the fullest.

Rum and Jam Bar isn’t merely a bar; it’s a narrative of Paphos' warm hospitality and rich cultural tapestry, narrated by Andreas and his wonderful team. This isn’t just a place to enjoy a cocktail; it’s where you learn a little, laugh a lot, and linger a bit longer under the soft glow of Cyprus’ starlit night. A return visit isn’t a consideration; it’s a promise to oneself to relive the sweet, strong, and enlightening...

Rum and Jam – A Hidden Gem in Paphos

Nestled under a lush tree canopy at Ayoras 6, Paphos, Rum and Jam offers a truly charming dining experience that combines a relaxed atmosphere with delicious, freshly made food. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and a cool, laid-back vibe that immediately set the tone for a fantastic evening.

The restaurant boasts a unique ambiance, with vibrant fresh flowers adorning each table, adding a touch of nature’s beauty to the environment. One of the highlights is the open kitchen setup, where the pizza chef skillfully prepares your meal right in the center of the space — watching them craft a perfect, thin-crust pepperoni pizza was almost as enjoyable as tasting it.

The pizza itself was outstanding: crispy, flavorful, and made with evident care and quality ingredients. The service was attentive and friendly, with staff genuinely caring about providing a memorable experience. Whether you're looking for a casual bite or a relaxing spot to unwind, Rum and Jam delivers on all fronts.

Overall, this place is a delightful find in Paphos — a perfect spot to enjoy great pizza, good company, and a chilled-out vibe in a beautifully inviting...

Came here at 6/12/23, a time most places have closed in Paphos and here the atmosphere was still nice and warm! The place is enclosed inside a nest made of buildings and plants, almost as an escape of the town's environment! Drinks have unique flavors but you should ask the bartenders for suggestions in case you can't decide! Food is also nice! Being in the center of Paphos and easily accessible, while in relatively normal prices it makes sense that it should be an option even for a visit of a couple of days, after a sunset at Nero's hill! Combine it with a restaurant like Piedra or even something close to the sea, like Democritos and you have a wonderful day, full of sightseeing, wonders and little walking! Try to find all the little secrets Paphos has to offer like parks or monuments! Parking can be found next to Nero and is also accessible by wheelchairs through an elevator. The rest of the center is also easily accessible and easy to...

We visited Rum and Jam in Paphos old town as a group of 16 and had an absolutely amazing time. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with such warmth and hospitality – Andreas, the owner, truly went above and beyond to make us feel at home. He was incredibly humble and accommodating, which really made the afternoon special. The food was top-notch – the fresh baked sourdough bread was a standout and set the tone for the rest of the meal. The pizzas were delicious, with a perfect crust and fresh toppings. We also enjoyed a great selection of cocktails, each one expertly made and full of flavor. It’s not easy to cater to a large group, but the service was smooth, friendly, and efficient throughout. We all left with full stomachs and big smiles. Highly recommend Rum and Jam for anyone visiting Paphos – whether you’re in a big group or just looking for a cozy night out with fantastic food and drinks. We’ll definitely be back

Disappointed and No Longer Returning We used to be regulars at Rum and Jam, visiting frequently because we genuinely enjoyed the place. However, after discovering that they display a large poster blaming Israel for genocide, we’ve decided we can no longer support this establishment. It's deeply disappointing to see a restaurant that should be a neutral, enjoyable place for dining become a platform for political misinformation and divisive narratives. We loved this place, but we refuse to support any business that spreads such harmful and false messages. This is not just a difference of opinion—it's about a stance that we believe supports terror and promotes narrow-minded thinking. Rum and Jam has lost us as customers, and we hope that others who share our values against terror will also reconsider supporting a business that chooses to engage in this kind of propaganda.
