Avli tis Nefelis — Restaurant in Paphos Municipality

Avli Tis Nefelis is a great relaxing cafe in what I would describe as a very large garden. Having read the reviews, I was expecting it to be full of cats. To be honest, I only saw a couple, and they were just chilling out, not causing anyone any issues. For food and drinks you order and pay at one counter, then move a couple of meters to collect your order. This worked very well. The service was very friendly and quick. I ordered a slice of Carrot Cake (€5) and Iced Latte (€3.50). It's a little bit more expensive than most cafes I visit. However, the carrot cake was absolutely delicious. Would I pay €5 again for the carrot cake? It's a big yes from me and with a good coffee and a great atmosphere it's a place I will be visiting again during my stay in Cyprus. After I finished my cake and coffee, I had a little walk around the gardens. There are plenty of tables and chairs dotted around so you can find a nice quiet shaded area if that's what you like. Most people on my visit were sat in the area near serving the counter. Just before I left, I visited the male's bathroom. It was very clean and tidy, so much so I took a photo of it...

The whole atmosphere is something close to paradise - Lots of fruit trees, cats enjoying the sun, nature and pure joy. The attention to Detail is remarkable! The whole Place Seems etheral, Like it’s from a fantasy Book or Cartoon. Great decor, delicious homemade Treats and super relaxing music.

Noni and the whole staff are a lovely, Hospitable and Charming Bunch of people. It was a Great experience to Go to this cafe and, as we say in germany, „die Seele baumeln zu lassen“. Truly cleansing for the mind and soul!!

They have a variety of snacks and drinks mainly on the traditional side, such as a few sandwiches and greek sfoliates/puff pastries but also rice pudding, mahalepi and carrot cake. They also have fresh figs, prickly pear and grapes, all freshly picked from their fruit, veg and floral gardens! :)

In terms of drinks, they offer both cold and hot beverages in terms of coffee (even cypriot coffee), hot/cold chocolate, rose milk, fresh fruit drinks, lemonades with a variety of flavours, tea, beer and wine.

Clean and well maintained toilets!

The winning aspect is their lovely green haven and animals (fish, ducks, cats, turtles and lots of rowdy/singing cicadas), which feels like you escaped the busy life and traffic of a city for countryside. We will definitely...
