The epitome of bad service and rudeness. Yes maybe there are good reviews about the food , but the staff and specifically the manager ( a male of 50 plus years) is disastrous.
From the beginning the “sub” manager refused our request to sit upfront because of reservations. This is totally understandable , but it was the attitude of loud refusal assuming we will give a fight which was not intended.
Asked for the “chicken nuggets” for my children, it was basically a a fried paste of some gooey substance , that any sane human would refuse to feed to their children.
We asked for the bill , and described our discontent , the waiter did not even try to comfort us with some alternatives or to address our concern. He was more than glad to check us out.
My wife after seeing this tried to complain to the passing manager whom I described before , His first words were:
I am very busy
We have 400 plus good reviews
Since the beginning you were not happy
Everything you ordered is on the house
This was obviously a suicidal attempt in restaurant / hospitality standards of world caliber.
We were even more furious and insisted on paying the bill, because it was almost insulting to us to assume we were complaining just to get a free ride.
Without an honest attempt to rectify the situation , they took our payment ( and tip which I may add) and wished us a good vacation.
It was our last night in Cyprus, and though we were blessed with this country’s beauty and warm hearted people , this experience left us with a sour , bitter feeling as we left.
Definitely won’t recommend it to anyone , because service , hospitality , sense of well reception and customer satisfaction comes before any product , food , cuisine or any wild dreams of top notch food or location.
Unfortunately some establishments get 400 plus reviews and think they are holier than thou.
Disappointment , anger and disgust are the feelings this so called...
Read moreWe try last night the restaurant, but it was a bad choice, I can not recommend, it was an unpleasant experience!
💁🏻♂️ After ordering the food, we received a small plate with some bread, butter and olives, which was not ordered, and it was NOT a gift, they put it on the bill! ⏱ It takes more than 40 minutes to receive the half of the order, 3-plates from 5, and we have to wait another 20 minutes for the rest, this is unacceptable!
🧆 About the food: Pro👍🏻: the seafoods was tasty, prepared well, also the fish, the plate looks good the balance was okay. We got a big portion, with delicious dressing and with normal French-fries. Con👎🏻: all of the non seafood was terrible. The chicken was not cocked well, on the kebab-mix plate was just a piece of bone, no any ding of lamb, the most of the meat was not marinated well and it was burnt! The taste of the plate wasn’t balanced.
I complained to the waiter our grievances, he can not solved the problem, he took the bill without asking.
Conclusion: if you want to eat here, choose seafood and fish, and try when it is not busy, but after this experience I recommend to visit other places, there is a lot of good...
Read moreI want to share my honest opinion about this restaurant. The restaurant across the street is absolutely wonderful — fantastic hosts, a welcoming atmosphere, and they support animal welfare. I personally help animals through my website, singing for animals, and advocating for street cats and shelters in need. Unfortunately, this restaurant here does not support animals at all. They even called the police when I tried to help animals nearby. I find that very disappointing and unacceptable. Despite offering to have their restaurant listed on my website to promote animal aid, the owner refused and was not open to any support or collaboration. While I respect the other restaurant’s values and support their efforts, I cannot recommend this place given their attitude towards animal welfare. I believe supporting places that share compassionate values makes a difference. For those who care about animals, I encourage you to visit the restaurant across the street instead. Please check out my website to see how you can help...
