Deck Cafe Restaurant — Restaurant in Paphos Municipality

Edit in response to owner: I urge you to look at your trip advisor reviews where you have hundreds of 1 star reviews for the same issues! I am clearly not an isolated case.

This is literally one of the worst places I’ve ever eaten in Cyprus. As somebody who lives in Cyprus I’m fully aware of the food and quality on offer and the Deck is a massive fail.

I ordered a Greek salad which was a couple of large tomatoes, a few pieces of cucumber, a quarter of a piece of cheap supermarket feta and a coupe of dried out olives. This salad would hang it’s head in shame if it could.

I also ordered a chicken wrap which was so thin you could almost see right through it, was full of salad nothing and much else - I actually thought they gave me the vegetarian one by mistake so I unwrapped it to discover two tiny pieces of dry chicken.

I asked to speak to the manager who didn’t seem surprised at all, he said we will try better next time - umm there will be no next time! I would be utterly ashamed to be sending food like this out of my kitchen, it’s so insulting to the customers as it’s so painfully obvious they are serving food to tourists who they know will not be back and as such have no problem sending out terrible food, I am not joking when I say I’ve had better quality food...

We ve been there 8/07, came for coffee and also 've ordered the carrot cake. When they brought us cake we tried it a little and the topping of the cake had a sour smell and weird taste. We called waiter and kindly asked to change it, lady got our cake, said she will ask chief and never comeback to us again. No one came to us to explain what with cake or to say that is good we will not change it or something else. When we asked the bill - they added the cake. I asked to remove it because we didnt eat it and just tried. And the waiter saw it. But the owner started speak unpolite immediately, started fight with us, and repeating that we ate all cake. Ofcs we decided to not fight with this man, his behavior was very bad and unpolite. I paid for everything but for sure not me not my friends will come there again. It was nice place before, but now service and attitude bacame horrible. So sad. Very strange owner' actions in place ( paphos) where all people know each other and reputation is...

Really nice location... That's all good I can say... We have ordered English breakfast and Cypriot breakfast, English one was ok as my friend said but the Cypriot one: 2 eggs 5 pcs of halloumi, 3! pcs of tomato and cucumber and some black olives? There was lunza listed in menu but I said I don't want any meat so if they can replace it with something else I would be happy, but I don't believe they did replace it with something else, nevermind! Service was really poor, there were only 3 tables and 2 waiters stayed inside for most of the time, noone came to ask if we needed anything so I went in to order more drinks and I guess the owner (or manager) got upset with them cause he started screaming at them... If it's for drinks go for it, for food - don't expect anything extraordinary for the price. Be prepared for waiting a lot... Even if you want to pay.. it took more than 15 mins to...
