Safety itâs not one of their points of interest. Their cars are already 30 years old, and we had the âluckâ to go on a tour with them where we had to change 3 cars, because they broke.
We were told to wait at the Adonis waterfall for someone to pick us up after the 2nd car broke, but after 45 min of waiting nobody came for us. We called their boss to check what is happening, and apparently they forgot about us.
We also tried to talk with the boss so we can get a refund for having our trip completely ruined, but they just didnât want to make up for anything. We were passed between the Michaelâs Rentals (the company where we booked the tour, which I also strongly advise not to book with) and Evis, and in the end all of them didnât take responsibility for what happened. They said and I quote âthey are cars, they brokeâ - 2 on the same tour. Good thing I had signal to get in touch with someone from Evis, otherwise we would have had to walk to the next village, on our time and money.
Just do yourself a favor and give extra 10 euro and book a tour from a company that actually have jeep cars, not old dangerous cars that donât even have working...
Read moreMost negligent tour ever. The jeeps are unsafe, and the drivers don't know how to drive. They go as fast as possible all the time. Sometimes, they even race with each other in places where there are no roads while carrying 10 people in a tiny uncomfortable unsafe jeep.
One girl in my tour even had a panic attack, and they had to leave her in a village and go back to Pafos by taxi. I opened my google maps and saw that we were going 82kmph even when the sign said 55 while doing dangerous curves with a precipice on the side.
I am half Bolivian, and not even on the famous "Death Road" I saw the terrible driving I saw in Cyprus with such little respect for life.
We took the Akamas tour, and the sights were nothing special. The highlight was supposed to be Adonis' baths, but it's full of people and full of kids running around. We couldn't even take a picture. We spent more time driving around with a headache than enjoying the sights.
For 100 euros for two people, it is definitely overpriced. Instead, for this money, go eat somewhere nice and rent a car for a day to go to surrounding beaches without a headache, back pain, and maybe...
Read moreJeep tour ruined by rudest tour guide in my 50 year life. He repeatedly made sarcastic or rude remarks even though we returned on time at every stop- if you donât believe, please read the details below. I still canât quite believe it myself - almost comically bad. Itâs in of stark contrast to all the other charming people that Iâve met here.
The worst part happened at the final stop. We got slightly lost and ended up being two minutes late, and the driver started to drive off just as we were catching up. He would stop when we nearly reached the Jeep and then speed up again, turning our minor delay into a bigger ordeal. Once we finally got on, he announced loudly to everyone, âWe are all stupid and you are intelligent,â which was both humiliating and uncalled for.
His guidance at the sites wasnât great either; it felt half-hearted and jaded. Honestly, Iâm puzzled why heâs in a client-facing role at all if he dislikes dealing with people so much.
Overall, this experience was a letdown. The driver's attitude cast a shadow over...
