English Rose — Restaurant in Paphos Municipality

Waited a very long time for everything at this restaurant, they had one waiter on who was very slow, we waited probably 15minutes for our drinks after we ordered them and there was only around 4 other tables of 2 other than me and my partner. The food then took probably 30mins after that to arrive, it was lukewarm and nothing write home about. I wouldn’t say it was awful but it definitely wasn’t worth the wait. I had the English breakfast and my partner had a baked potato which was quite dry inside and they gave her no butter for it. We had to ask for our bill 3 times and to be honest the only positive from this place was just that it was a good price only cost us €25 in total. I wouldn’t even normally write a review but this was breakfast to try get our day off to a good start and it did quite the opposite. I have never posted a review before but felt it was necessary to warn other customers. Waited ages for service and a further 20 mins for the drinks and that was only after we asked for order to be chased up. The beer was flat and other drinks laden with fruit that wasn't even asked for. Decided to eat anyway, against our better judgement based on drinks service. Ordered 2 lasagne. Only when half the party's food came out, did the waitress tell us that there was only 1 lasagne left. The others in our group had eaten theirs when the rest of the party came out. The lasagne was served in a metal food container and was frozen in the middle still. The chicken burger was neither chicken coloured or chicken flavoured. When we complained to the staff that the food was not up to standard, the manager was very rude and abrupt. He removed our plates and told us he did not want our money. The food, drinks and service was not worth a penny anyway. Very disappointing....

Amazing, we didn't really think much of the look but felt a bit dizzy so needed to sit down And found a fantastic little place.

I had avocado and prawns and it was so much more than that. A beautifully presented salad very fresh and crisp avocado was perfect and nice amount of prawns Partner had eggs and chips and was impressed not greasy and eggs just right.

We returned that evening for a local Brandy and the negroni I am very fussy about them and have to say this was one of the best I have ever had, and possibly the cheapest. The local Brandy was very good, even myself who doesn't like brandy thought it was nice.

The staff were very attentive and kind, especially the young man who took time to talk to us and make sure we would not miss our bus. We are planning on a few more visits here, the view is also spectacular across the bay and unlike other places don't mark...
