The good things are nice recipient Mikhalis and the central location. don't know how this hotel got above 8 score. Oh where to start.. We got our apartment room with 2 AC's which are cooling maybe only 1 square meter, there was a wifi problem in the room and they didn't tell us before. We were sweating all the time In this room. We asked to move and they moved us to smaller room (with no refund) and upgraded us from breakfast to breakfast+dinner. Breakfast was below average and always the same with no variety. We went to dinner once and 5 minutes after we were out. No taste in the food even though they made a BBQ dinner. When we checked out we were surprised to find out we have been charged for 3.40 Euro for orange juice from dinner (which was not fresh obviously) and nobody told us about. Then why should I pay for dinner if even soft drinks aren't included? THEY NEVER CLEANED THE ROOM!! They just changed the towels which felt like sand paper, and just made up the bed with our old dirty sheets which had stains. Maids must be blind. The pillows felt wooden and out neck hurt after the first night. We slept without pillows the other nights. No refrigerator in the hotel rooms as well. You have to pay to get the safe key! BE AWARE that the walls are thin and we could hear people talking 24/7 even if they're at the end of the hallway or outside. Even with closed window. I also made sure that the hallway window is closed but still could hear everything. Next to the hotel there is a karaoke bar which our room jumped from its bass until around midnight. There is absolutely no noise cancelling in the rooms. We complained about knockings which woke us up many times around 2-4am and the staff guy came and said "I can't help you go to the staff at the morning" but we were so desperate from this hotel that we just bought earplugs. It's always hot and humid in the hotel lobby and restaurant. Do yourself a favor and go to a...

I had an amazing time at the hotel! -Super easy to reach from the airport with the bus 612 just to go back to the airport because of construction work I had to order a taxi. Maybe they should actualise the actual departure location to reach the airport during the construction work on the road! -Super good location I’ve done everything by foot. 10 min from the sea. 15 from the archeological sites. Lot of bars restaurants close to the hotel. -Service crew really helpful they borrowed me a plug adapter cause I didn’t have a British one and they brought me to the gym when I asked how to get there! -Room clean even if I saw comments saying they can be renovated it’s clear that it is clean just some stuff are older which is not a problem for me. Air conditioning in the room really helpful and details like a water boiler tea and coffee which is super important for me plus a balcony. The room is cleaned daily and the towel changed as well. Walls are thin but I personally could still sleep really well. -The breakfast is great if you’re omnivorous or vegetarian but as a vegan very limited that’s my only point of improvement. The only vegan options are the cereal and fruits the vegetables are cooked in butter.. the beans were vegan too. And bread but nothing vegan to spread on it. Plant milk can be brought but you have to ask for it. So my recommendation who would make a HUGE difference for vegan guest would be to cook the vegetables with olive oil or other plants oil. So vegan can eat it too. Which fairer for the price. Offer margarine next to butter for the bread and toast. And I would have enjoyed fresher vegetables and fruits maybe seasonal ones. Fresh orange juice would be so great as well. I guess it’s a budget question but it will bring a higher quality and you could sell the breakfast for a...

Only air-conditioning in rooms - so get very sweaty at meal times. On occasion had to go back to room to shower! Rooms are ok - not consistent though - we had 2 rooms and one had better aircon unit, more TV channels and foam toppers on the beds! Pool is small - can't really do lengths, drinks are (in my opinion) expensive - luckily there are shops within a minute's walk. Staff are nice - male staff more chatty and friendly than female. Food was ok. Adequate choice. No chips or chicken nuggets - proper food. Hotel is close to bars, shops, mall, harbour and bus station. We won't be returning though, as there are much nicer hotels about. This one looked tired and the entertainment (not every night) wasn't up to much. A week was plenty.

Re: paphos... liked the airport. Paphos was looking shabby though. Good bus service. I got hassled in the mall - some bloke trying to flog me a 'miracle' face mask - 70% off at €180 !!! It had iron filings in it which he removed with a magnet. Wow!! Similar thing on Amazon for a tenner. Then again at the harbour - you'll get pounced on by blokes trying to sell you boat trips or safaris. They want you to "book now" - so you can't walk further and get offered a better price by the next seller. If you go to coral bay beach - be aware there are jelly fish and we all had bad guts after our visit. My daughter was I'll for 2 days - was the water clean? Not...

My stay at Nereus was perfect. Firstly, the rooms are nice and clean. The beds are big and comfy. The ac and ceiling fan work very well. Nice little balcony. The location of the hotel is good. My only minus is about the bathroom, it did have little spots of mold and was outdated. For some reason the bath was just constantly dirty even after cleaning and the water would take a while to go down the drain. But this didn’t really affect us. The breakfast is very nice, although it doesn’t change through out the week so it can get a bit repetitive. The pool seems clean, not very busy at all in the mornings. It’s open from 10-7 as this is when the lifeguard is there. He’s very friendly and jokey. Most of the reception staff is lovely and very helpful. You are able to book excursions at the reception desk and also book taxis. The cleaning of the rooms was ok, the cleaners are very loud in the mornings and the walls are very thin, so if you want to sleep a bit longer it’s practically impossible. One of the cleaners (young girl with black hair) was rude and constantly talking about people staying in the hotel including us, unaware we could understand her. And when a poor man fell outside she was laughing at him instead of helping. Overall the stay was nice and great for the price. We would definitely recommend this hotel and stay here again when visiting Paphos.

I recently stayed at the Nerus Hotel Paphos, and my experience was a mixed bag. On the positive side, the service was friendly and welcoming. The staff were always smiling and willing to help with any questions or requests. The breakfast was also a highlight - there was a wide selection of dishes and desserts, and everything was freshly prepared and delicious. However, the rooms were a letdown. They were extremely small and outdated, with barely enough space for three people to move around, let alone store their luggage. The bathroom was tiny, with flimsy shelves that seemed to be on the verge of collapse, and the bathtub was not clean. To make matters worse, the housekeeping was subpar - our towels were stained and looked unappealing, and the room was not thoroughly cleaned. Additionally, the hotel's amenities were limited. The pool was small and overcrowded, and the Wi-Fi was spotty at best. The location was also a bit of a walk from the city center, which was inconvenient at times. Overall, while the hotel's service and breakfast were commendable, the rooms and cleanliness left much to be desired. Perhaps with some renovations and attention to detail, this hotel could reach its full potential. As it stands, I would recommend exploring other options in the area.
