If you're staying at the Sunrise's and your food is included in your holiday package then I would warn you, you will know about it by the way you are treated by the staff.
The food here is lovely, just to say, we had Bruschetta and the mozzarella starter, spaghetti carbonara and a lasagne for a main and the sobert for dessert. Absolutely no complaints about the food whatsoever. Would even go so far as to say one of the best I've ever had, and I have eaten in Italy many times.
What I would say though is that because you are from the hotel and are not spending your money there bar the drinks you get treated as such. It seemed a bother to be seated despite having a reservation, we waited a long time to have our drinks orders taken, even longer to take our food orders, forget ordering a second drink as it won't show up, don't bother waiting for parmesan for your meal, I asked 3 seperate waiters and none arrived until I asked the fourth. The place was half empty and the staff were stood around chatting despite asking 3 times for parmesan, my food began to get cold and I almost gave up entirely. The staff literally did not smile or make eye contact and everything seemed like it was too much for them, whilst serving people who were seated after us before us.
Whole ordeal took nearly 2 hours and the only quick part of it was when we asked for the bill. The only time anyone smiled was when we left.
We had been warned by other hotel guests this would be the case and it was such a shame as the food was so gorgeous, so massive disappointment in the service. If you are staying at the hotel I wouldn't bother the staff make you feel like you're a total waste...
Read moreInteresting place and not all for the good reason. Starters very poor avoid chicken liver pate as it’s so boring and small portion. Cannelloni was portion wise plenty but taste awful and very dense, the balsamic glaze on top doesn’t work at all. The concept sounded nice but the execution was extremely poor. Drinks we ordered large beers and got given small but didn’t say nothing as we thought was our mistake…. Then at the end of the meal it was on our bill as large and when questioned the manager turned her nose up even though our glasses were still on the table. The worst part was the arrabbiata pasta AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Should have been called Vesuvio pasta. We have eaten many times arrabbiata and was spicy but not to damage your insides…. This was dangerous. After 2 forkfuls we went to send this back and the answer was arrabbiata is meant to be spicy, we told her we understand but this is ridiculously hot and she said no it’s meant to be… only real nice thing was the decor and setting of the restaurant, kitchen...

Thank you to the hostess that sat us down for her professionalism and hospitality, as busy as they was the team still managed to give us the best experience. The food was amazing, anytime we needed/wanted something there was always someone there, we never felt neglected despite how busy and stressed the team was, great place to be, great place to eat… I have read some of the negative reviews and to be honest it’s just from disrespectful tourist who feel like they’re entitled just because they’re on holiday, the world doesn’t revolve around them…
Keep up amazing hospitality team, the experience you have given to me and my family was unforgettable, don’t let the ignorance of us tourist get to you, some of us just wasn’t taught respect !
looking forward to coming back and dining with you guys again.
Would highly recommend...
