On our first day into our Holiday we came to this pub/restaurant for breakfast and found it rather pleasant and enjoyable, the open space and not too busy atmosphere gives this place a relaxing holiday feeling. a few evening later we came for dinner and tried it's fantastic Icelantic Cod & Chips for only just 8.90 Euro! and I must say it was absolutely delicious! only problem I have with this place is that the price of it's alcoholic drinks are not really reasonable pricing, as a pint of rekorderlig is 5 Euros each.. for choice of food options, I wouldn't recommend the Sunday roasts unless you want a plate of gravy, the spare ribs as there is no flavour to them, the steak and kidney pie was so small the scoop of mash potato next to it looked like the main part of the dish. but all in all the service was really good and cleanliness...
Read moreMy wife and I went for a Sunday lunch three weeks ago. It was very nice and good value. We called in again a week ago and the experience was not as good. First of all the waitress got our order wrong. My wife asked for a small dinner with no cauliflower cheese and was served a large dinner with cauliflower cheese. The Yorkshires we're burnt, the veg was cold and the lamb was fatty and tough. The waitress with her irritating "cheers" really got on my nerves. I'm sure she's a lovely lady but it was really a nerve grinder. I'm disappointed and sad and maybe I should have complained but I put it down as a one off experience. Does it put me off ? No. I think the Pig is a real value for money eatery and i will go back. Just dont let standards slip. Moaning Brit? No. Why not try a carvery service? After all this the P & W is a great...

The Pig N’Whistle boasts seven very decent screens and has coverage of all of the top games as well as having full surround sound in the bar to give you the buzz of any English pub back in the UK. The bar has both Leon and Keo on tap as well as other favourites from back in England including Guinness, Carlsberg and Peroni to name a few. I’d advise you to get down there early before kick off as of soon picks up! The reason for a four star rating is because O believe that there should be more than one person serving on the bar when it’s busy. I had to wait about 10 minutes to get served for 2 Pints of Keo. However, once they arrived I enjoyed...
