We recently visited your restaurant in Cyprus and, unfortunately, left quite disappointed with our experience.

We ordered the 700g pork chops (4 pieces), expecting a generous portion as described. However, what was served appeared to be much smaller than anticipated – the pork chops resembled miniature cuts, which was quite surprising. When we raised this with the staff, the manager did agree to provide us with an additional portion, which we appreciated.

However, the way the situation was handled left a negative impression. The manager’s tone came across as sarcastic and dismissive. When she asked, “Isn’t the portion big enough for you?” and later, “Are you full now? Do you still want another portion?”—both comments felt unnecessarily ironic and unprofessional. This created an uncomfortable atmosphere during our meal.

We fully understand that miscommunications around portion sizes can happen. What was disappointing, though, was the lack of genuine hospitality in addressing our concern. While the rest of the staff were polite and friendly, the interaction with the manager did not reflect the level of customer service we expected.

Stumbled across this restaurant a bit later than we would normally eat around 9pm. I was slightly put off by all the signs outside, but the decor was sophisticated with pristine white table clothes set up nicely with glasses etc. The waiter was so welcoming! He gave us a table to sit on whilst we waited for a table outside. He made light chit chat and ensured that we new that we had not been forgotten. After just 5 minutes we were seated at a lovely table for two and given the menus. A lovely waitress took our order and checked with the kitchen before confirming they had moussaka. The staff were attentive at topping up our wines. The food arrived and the portions were generous. The moussaka was beautifully creamy and melted in the mouth. The moussaka was served with a simple salad that the waiter was excited to serve with a fresh lemon juice and olive oil dressing that really complimented the salad without an overpowering flavour. My husbands pizza was just as you would want a pizza to be. Crispy, good quality ingredients and they have a delicious chilli sauce on request that is made in house. The lady who came to ask us about the food was delighted to hear that we had enjoyed their meal as her husband was the chef. Gluten free options also...

She asked, “Isn’t the portion big enough for you?” in a very ironic way, which made the situation uncomfortable. Later, while I was finishing my meal, she returned and asked, “Are you full now? Do you still want another portion?” Again in a sarcastic manner.
