A disappointment for me was the waiter service. I asked the waiter was โEstragonโ Greek for Tarragon, to which he repliedโno, but you wouldnโt know what it is anyway, and you wonโt taste it ๐ฑWe googled it and it was indeed tarragon, what would be the point in it being in the dish if you canโt taste it? We ordered a bottle of wine and the waitress in this instant poured a suitable amount into each of our glasses which we sipped whilst waiting for our starter. The next thing a waitress came to our table and literally poured the rest of the entire bottle between the two of us and put the empty bottle in the ice bucket which had been placed next to our table and took it away ๐ฑmy wife looked horrified and said. โOh, is that it, finishedโ? To which she repliedโyeah, do you want another bottleโ? My wife repliedโno thank-you, we havenโt even been given our starters yet๐คThe wine in its bucket must have been next to our table for no longer than 10minutes. So we had 2 enormous goblets of wine now getting warm. The starter was very nice and plenty of it, we shared one between us as recommended by the waiter which was good advice as it was too much for one person.
