It’s with the deepest regret that I write it, but hopefully it will help the place to improve. The interior is beautiful, so is the choice of drinks and food. However, a few things that really make the experience unpleasant and makes one doubt to come back there again: The portions. We order chicken pâté, and the pâté in it was great and good portion, but bread (?!). Two pieces of finger size is NOT enough to finish the plate, and considering you’re not given any forks - are you supposed to finish it off with a knife, or your fingers? :)) JK, but really, if it were just me, and not the 3 of us, I’d think it’s a me issue. Service. The ladies behind the bar were nice and friendly - can’t take it from them. But it’s a cafe, so I would think they have something more besides it. When we came, the place was almost empty, with dirty dishes everywhere - OK, it happens after the rush. BUT we set next to a table with dirty glasses, there was no one there and it was kept like that for an hour. We order 3 virgin mulled wine cups - the worker brought it without a tray, spilling it on herself and the table, then she rushed away. I thought she’s going for a cloth to clean the table, but oh no I was wrong. After we finished the meal, but stayed to finish the drinks, the dirty dishes were left to keep us company. Oh well. I understand that unfortunately, the work in this sector isn’t always taken seriously and is indeed a part time job for students. But it can be done MUCH better, and it’s all a matter of training. Hopefully,...

Efsy Cafe is truly one of the most immaculately run establishments I’ve encountered during my year living in Prague. From the moment you walk in, you're met with an atmosphere that is elevated perfectly blending elegance and warmth. The design is exceptional and undeniably one of the best-designed cafés in the city. Every element, from the lines, curves, and lighting to the layout to the curated decor, reflects thoughtful intention and style.
The service is equally remarkable. The staff is consistently attentive, professional, and kind, creating an experience that feels both elevated and welcoming. It's clear that the management places a high value on attention to detail, and it shows in everything from the perfectly presented pastries to the seamless overall operation of the space.
Equally impressive is the quality of the offering. The coffee is exceptional. It is balanced, rich, and clearly prepared with a barista’s precision. The pastries and dishes are refined yet comforting, plated with the same attention to detail that defines the space itself. And the cocktails? Effortlessly elegant—crafted with a level of sophistication that makes Efsy just as appealing after dusk.
Whether you're meeting a client for a business coffee, enjoying a quiet moment with a book and espresso, or planning a charming date night, Efsy offers the ideal setting. A standout in Prague’s café scene, and one I...
Read moreThe visit was rather disappointing experience. Upon arrival, there was no greeting or acknowledgment, and the staff seemed disengaged throughout our visit, we did not feel welcome at all.
The menu was slightly confusing—there were inconsistencies between the QR code and the printed version. For example, it wasn’t possible to order add-ons like eggs or meat through the digital menu.
Service was noticeably slow. When drinks were finally served, one was accidentally spilled by the waitress.
As for the food, it was decent overall, but there were a few issues. The hummus dish came without the carrots shown in the picture, the lettuce wasn’t as fresh as expected, and most concerning were the large chunks of salt sprinkled over the dish—one was so hard it nearly chipped a tooth. Additionally, finding a hair on the plate was disappointing and concerning from a hygiene standpoint.
The interior has a creative concept behind it, but it seems to be in need of some maintenance. Tables and chairs were visibly scratched and chipped, the sofas looked unclean, and the bar area appeared cluttered with dishes and even clothing in plain view. This made the kitchen environment feel less than hygienic. Staff members also wore their long hair loose, which isn’t ideal in a food service setting.
Lastly, the bathrooms were in poor condition and didn’t seem to be serviced regularly...
