We liked it! It's meant to be for a quick bight, nothing busy as a dinner of various entrées.
Pros:
-good food, healthy options, beautiful display of everything. It's so hipstery, just interesting to see such a different style from you standard Czech bar/pub. -decor is interesting, bricks partially coated by white paint, non uniformly done so to give the hipster impression style. Nice marble tables and pretty display of food and wines on the wall behind the counter. -excellent staff, very courteous and with an elegant style. -wifi is available and free -location is right next to the team stop and not so far from a metro station.
Cons:
-waiters don't really speak English. You'll have some trouble if you don't know Czech or have someone that speaks the language with you -expensive compared to other places but it's justified by the complete different style in culinary recipes and decor -there could be a bigger display of ingredients around the room, just to make it more attractive to healthy food oriented people. But that's just my opinion not a real negative aspect
Conclusion:
it's location isn't at the center of the city so I don't really recommend you go all the way here just for a bight, I'd recommend this place only if you're nearby and want to eat healthy. It's a really nice place and it reminds me of another place in Melbourne called "East Elevation". Love this bio revolution. Come you won't regret it. But remember it's a...
Read moreSimila experience as other people lately: there were three tables, we waited almost 15 minutes to get a menu - waitress was just walking around us not even saying hello. Than we asked for it, ordering was okay but then another couple arrived, sat next to us, ordered, ate, paid, left and only after that we got our food. Those people actually had almost the same meals and drinks as us. Waitress came with an apology but after 25 minutes. Altogether we spent an hour there - something what could have been 20 minutes visit... moreover toilets were dark and dirty - I would understand some mess after a morning peak, but we’ve visited on weekday morning and really almost nobody was inside.
Food was great, the staff one of the worse I’ve seen in coffee shop. I don’t know what happened after the pandemic, maybe they had to let some capable people go. But until then I recommend to get your breakfast...
Read moreThis place we visited on a cold windy rainy day- we arrived at 12:30 around lunch time- we were told we could not order from daily menu only breakfast- whilst the breakfast menu was good it was a little limited- but we ordered- by the time we got our sandwich they had taken 30min & it was cold- we were impressed by home made mayonnaise fresh home style bread etc- good sandwiches. But not very big & not side salad garnish or corn chips as in photo- we guessed breakfast is different- service & portion size let this place down- try it but be a little prepared- because of their slow service we watched other tables leave & other times not enough room for new patrons- they clearly need more staff or...
