Botel Marina — Hotel in Prague

We booked a couple of nights here as we thought it was a good location and unique concept. Unfortunately, firstly we weren’t told about the construction work taking place meaning that the majority of the facilities were closed - including the restaurant and bar, which were advertised on the website. This also meant we didn’t have the option to have breakfast. When we were given our room we were placed in a view facing the bank having booked a river view, which we were told was an upgrade. When I brought this up to the receptionist, she did take the time to solve the issue and sort us a room on the other side of the boat. However, unfortunately both rooms we saw were clearly unloved and has not been cleaned. There was dirt all over the floor, windows were covered in dirt, water and bugs. There were spiders all over the room which bit us throughout the duration of the trip. There were stains present on the walls and most of the furnishings such as the light sockets, shades and window handles were broken. The staff were rude upon asking for cutlery to use in order to celebrate a birthday. Shame as the hotel has such potential if it was well kept. Extortionate price for the quality...

Ist ein Schiffshotel. Die unteren Kabinenzimmer sind für 2 Personen etwas klein. Zwischen Dusche und Toilette ist eine Durchreiche, sodass von beiden Seiten das Waschbecken zum Händewaschen benutzt werden kann. Allerdings würde ich Toilettenbenutzung und Dusche von 2 Personen gleichzeitig nicht empfehlen. Am Waschtisch nicht möglich etwas abzulegen, weder Kulturbeutel noch kleines Handtuch! Bei jedem Toiletten- Spülgang als auch Duschen wird die Hebe-Pump-Anlage aktiv. Haken für Duschhandtücher ist nur einer vorhanden. Diese ist sehr laut, sodass man 5 Zimmer weiter alles hört auch in der Nacht! Sauberkeit war gegeben. Frühstücksbueffet war sehr gut. Personal freundlich. Parkplätze mit Schlaglöchern sind vor dem Botel vorhanden. Zufahrt führt über unbefestigten Weg! Der obere Parkplatz weisst ebenso Schlaglöchern auf. Zu Fuss zum Zentrum ca. 3,7 km, Laufzeit ca. 30/35 Minuten. Insgesamt finde ich das Preis-Leistung-Verhältnis zu hoch auch wenn es sehr schön am Flussufer liegt und der Aussenbereich (Terrasse mit Sitzplätzen...) vom Botel im Sommer sicherlich seine Vorzüge hat. Aufgrund der hohen Geräuschduchlässigkeit und zum Teil Fluss/andere Gerüche kann ich hier nur 3 Sterne bewerten. Es lohnt sich Vergleiche mit anderen Hotels vorzunehmen!

It is a ship hotel. The lower cabin rooms are a bit small for 2 people. There is a hatch between the shower and toilet so that the sink can be used from both sides to wash hands. However, I would not recommend that 2 people use the toilet and shower at the same time. It is not possible to put anything on the washbasin, neither a toiletry bag nor a small towel! The lifting pump system is activated every time you flush the toilet or take a shower. There is only one hook for bath towels. This is very loud so that you can hear everything 5 rooms away, even at night! It was clean. The breakfast buffet was very good. The staff was friendly. There are parking spaces with potholes in front of the Botel. Access is via an unpaved road! The upper parking lot also has potholes. About 3.7 km on foot to the center, walking time about 30/35 minutes. Overall, I think the price-performance ratio is too high, even though it is beautifully situated on the river bank and the Botel's outdoor area (terrace with seating...) certainly has its advantages in summer. Due to the high level of noise and the occasional river/other smells, I can only give it 3 stars. It's worth comparing it with other hotels!

Je to lodní hotel. Dolní kajutové pokoje jsou trochu malé pro 2 osoby. Mezi sprchou a toaletou je poklop, aby bylo možné umyvadlo použít z obou stran na mytí rukou. Nedoporučoval bych však, aby dva lidé používali toaletu a sprchu současně. U umyvadla nelze nic odložit, ani toaletní taštičku, ani malý ručník! Systém zvedacího čerpadla se aktivuje při každém spláchnutí nebo sprchování toalety. Na osušky je pouze jeden háček. To je velmi hlasité, takže můžete slyšet vše ve vzdálenosti 5 pokojů, dokonce i v noci! Čistota byla dána. Snídaně formou bufetu byla velmi dobrá. Personál přátelský. Před botelem jsou k dispozici parkovací místa s výmoly. Přístup je po nezpevněné cestě! Horní parkoviště má také výmoly. Pěšky do centra cca 3,7 km, doba běhu cca 30/35 minut. Celkově si myslím, že poměr cena výkon je příliš vysoký, i když je krásně umístěn na břehu řeky a venkovní prostor (terasa s posezením...) Botelu má v létě určitě své výhody. Vzhledem k vysoké úrovni propustnosti hluku a někdy i říčním/jiným zápachům mohu hodnotit pouze 3 hvězdičkami. Stojí za to provést srovnání s...

Check in is only available from 7AM to 7PM If you arrive late, you can’t just walk in and check in This place is overpriced! For the price they ask it’s too low quality… Dirty there was some crème left from previous guest under bed and cleaner didn’t clean properly, no kettle, no glass at least to poor water. Room is super cold during winter times, available AC doesn’t help to heat room and keep warmth inside. It was working whole night on MAX but it was super cold View from room is literally goes on some wasteland, not as written as an advantage on booking There is no door in bathroom, so if you take shower it’s again super cold since room doesn’t keep warmth inside If you stay with friends, consider no privacy in bathroom since walls are glass ones, no curtain or something Location, it’s for sure not super far from city center but I wouldn’t recommend to walk in this are at night. Feel not safe at all, so consider to spend extra money for taxi if you coming back to your room in late evening
