"Not approved!" Nice Place in a Historical Beautiful City
Unfortunately, this was one of the most awful places we have ever been to.
After we placed our order, we waited a long time for our food and drinks to be served. When they finally arrived, we had to wait even longer for our silverware. It took so long that our food became cold.
My order was goulash with dumplings, but the onions were missing! I had to wait even longer for the onions to finally be brought to my plate. By then, my dish was completely cold. Nevertheless, I tried to eat because I was really hungry. The meat was so tough that it was hard to chew, and the fibers stuck in my teeth. It was one of the worst dining experiences I have ever had!
To make matters worse, they offered their homemade beer while badmouthing my beloved Budweiser Budvar and Kozel. No way! I tried their "homemade stuff," and it was a disappointment all the way through.
There was one more issue: the waitress was playing with the guests' dogs. That's okay, but she should have washed her hands before serving food to other guests. She scratched her head several times, then intensely scratched the fur of other dogs before serving the food. I don't know about you, but I found it very unappetizing. For my part, I was...

I booked a table 3 weeks prior to our trip. When we arrived, the hostess Nuk (remember this name) sad that we can choose where to sit - inside or outside. When we chose the second option, she said that there are no tables where we can sit (despite the fact tat there were) and she need some time to think.
Than, she gave us a table and said "you are fine to sit with some other people, aren't you?". Definitely, we were not fine with it as we've booked the table not to share it with anyone.
When we asked for the bill, I left to the restroom. When I was back, I saw that my wife was sitting with some other people. It appeared that Nuk (remember this name?) just brought these people to our table without even waiting us to leave. Moreover, she moved my sweatshirt to the bench edge without asking my wife to do so.
It's just a terrible service.
If you ask about food, it was just average for the higher than average price.
The beer was great. But it doesn't help to get rid of bitterness of the experience.
If you go 100 meters to the city center direction, there is a cafe of Hotel Questenberk. It has an amazing view and draft beer! Enjoy...
Read moreSuper rude staff. Didn’t acknowledge us at all. The waitress told us to pick a table either outside or inside - we chose one outside. Then she told us to go and order the drinks inside. So we went inside to order. The 2 men who worked there didn’t even look at us or say hello. We had to say hi ourself before they even bothered to look at us, and they saw us come thru the door. We told one of the men that we wanted to order some beers. He replied very sassy that we should pick a table first - which we told him that we already had a table. He told us 2 more times that we should pick a table and the waitress would take our order from the table. We said to him that the waitress told us to order from him inside. The waitress came inside and them two started talking. They just stared at us with no help or said anything. We went outside and waited at our table. The waitress walked past multiple times without even acknowledging us or look at us.
We ended up leaving and walked 100m further down the road to a bar that had a fantastic view over Prague and nice and helpful staff.
Super disappointed over our experience and would never support a business with such rude staff that has 0...
