U Slovanské Lípy — Restaurant in Prague

It deserves zero stars ! I visited this restaurant as a tourist and had a very disappointing experience. The staff refused to accept Czech and insisted I pay in euros. They applied an extremely unfair exchange rate (1 € = 20 CZK), which made my meal cost much more than it should have — around 36 € instead of about 28 €. When I asked for clarification, they claimed this was “the normal rate in the city,” which is simply not true. The official exchange rate is usually around 1 € = 24 CZK.

Be careful if you come here. Always pay in Czech crowns (CZK) and double-check the prices before paying. Tourists deserve honest treatment, and this place took advantage of that. Definitely not...

Traditional czech restaurant with traditional czech food. This is a place to go if you really wanna try good food. Food is always excellent here and I never had a bad meal. Daily lunch offers are planned in front and alyways have great choices so you can find something for yourself. Interior is a bit outdated but it gives a special charm to this place and I like it. 📍Place: located in a busier area, next to a main road.
