We recently stayed at Hotel Adeba in Prague's Karlín district, which included a full hour of private wellness. Our experience was overall quite pleasant. The room was clean, well-furnished, and properly ventilated, ensuring a comfortable stay. However, the TV in the room was comically small, which added an unintentionally amusing touch to the experience. The bathroom was spotless, with plenty of towels readily available, which was a nice touch. While the included buffet breakfast was decent, it wasn’t anything particularly special—some of the food was on the bland side, but nothing too off-putting. One of the standout aspects of the hotel is its excellent location in the heart of Karlín. The area provides great accessibility to various services, shops, and public transport, making it a convenient choice for travelers. The staff at Hotel Adeba were another highlight of our stay. They were friendly, accommodating, and always ready to assist with any inquiries or requests, which added to the overall positive experience. Additionally, the hotel has a snack bar in the lobby, and they offer wine and champagne for sale, which is a nice option for guests looking to unwind. Overall, Hotel Adeba is a solid choice for a short stay in Prague, especially if you’re looking for good value, a clean and comfortable environment, and a well-situated location in Karlín.

LOL,..."near train station." Trains run right past every 5 minutes and it's like a scene right out of the movie, "My Cousin Vinny." Power went out 2 or 3x a night. Water pressure was low. No wake up call bc there aren't any hotel phones in rooms. No air conditioning. Bed was hard, felt flat and was grossly old. Small refrigerator was ok touch, but wouldn't cool the room. They handed out 3 or 4 fans to those who asked. But when the fans were out, they were out. Free breakfast is "ok." Cigarette smoke from smoking area in center courtyard permeates heavily through hotel and up to at least the second floor. Overall, it was the worst attempt at a modern hotel that I've ever stayed in. In fact, the feeling of the end of the cold war never seems so recent as it does at Hotel Adeba in the way that it is wanting. The mystery behind a pink door located a block away is the best thing about the hotels location; however, the door remains a mystery. I DO NOT recommend staying at this hotel to anyone. Even a thrifty traveler would be disappointed.

The entire facility is extremely outdated and in a state of disrepair. The furniture is in such poor condition that it should honestly be discarded, and the hotel desperately needs a complete renovation. Even the electronics, like the discolored hairdryer, appeared to be decades old. Sleeping was nearly impossible as the mattress was placed on a chipboard, making the bed unbearably hard and uncomfortable. The cleanliness was atrocious—I found numerous long foreign hairs, old dirt embedded in the carpet, and a greasy bathroom that clearly hadn’t been properly cleaned. The towel couldn't be hung on the (filthy) heater to dry, as I was too concerned about its cleanliness. The shower, which I only entered wearing flip-flops, didn’t drain due to a blockage. There might be a "Plus" section with a few slightly better rooms. However, even the furniture in the hallways is old and neglected, even by Prague standards. The photos attached speak for themselves. I would strongly advise against booking this hotel based on my dreadful experience.

Rather nice and clean rooms, good breakfasts.. But we have a very bad experience in our first day there. We came in very hot day (about 36 degrees outside) and got two rooms on the third floor, with roof windows that could be opened only to few cantimeters. Apparently, the roof was very heated and inside it was extremelly hot, I think, about 50 degrees. We opened the windows to they few cantimeters, put the mobile ventilator, but it doesn't help at all, despite the fact that it began to rain... This kind of windows simply don't enough to ventilate the rooms in such extreme condition. We came to ask for other rooms, but were told the hotel is full, that we knew it don't have air conditioning and that the staff is not responsible of weather. It was not a pleasant answer - yes, the staff is not responsible of weather, but it's responsible to rent a rooms thet are livable! Our rooms wasn't livable in such extreme temperatures inside! We spend all the time till night outside and than slept very bad.. In second room were my husband's parents, old and sick people, they told that felt really sick that night because of extreme hot. Only after long arguing we was promised that next day we'll get another rooms with a normal windows, and it was done - for two other nights of our staying we've got a normal rooms in the first floor, with a normal windows that we could open to ventilate. If we got that rooms right away, may be I would give this hotel 4 or 5 stars, but it wasn't so. The guest must know that this hotel has not only a nice, reasonable rooms, but also a very bad rooms on third floor with very extreme conditions in hot weather. Because the staff is "not responsible for weather", because when you order you don't know what weather will be while you stand, because you have not idea what room you will get, if you'll be lucky or not - I don't recommens this hotel at all.

Almost forget about the noise (in comparison with the first problem it even doesn't look serious) - there is some train or tram line very close to the hotel, we even didn't understand where... It's very noisy till late and from about 5 o'clock in the morning. In our horrible first rooms it was very strong, in seconds - less, because they was in another wing of building.. But get it also in consuderation, at least take earplugs with you, if you still decide to stay...

My stay at adeba plus was not as expected, we stayed for 5 nights in which they never changed the sheets and never swept the floor, I put in a card every day to have my room cleaned and they only threw garbage and folded the duvet. In particular, an employee (male) at the reception, from what I understood, he was not serious about what the customer wanted, I asked him for a change of sheets, he told me on the 3rd day it never happened, I asked for a pillow, he said we will put it when we clean the room, they had not put it and when I went to the reception to complain, he said to me, we are very sorry, the maids have left, I told him when I asked, he was here, he says I know, but now he is not, I don't have a pillow, we are full, they will put you in tomorrow, he noticed my anger and after 5 minutes, the maid appeared ( which was not there) and pillows were also found. The towels were changed once and that's because I threw them down to show that I wanted new ones. We were sorry for this behavior (mocking the customer). The room was renovated and nice but there is not phone in room , when you wanted something you had to go downstairs (dangerous as someone might need help) and there were no slippers in the room. The air conditioner was standard set at one temperature and there was no possibility to change it.The breakfast was varied but the sweets were missing. Of all this, the most unpleasant thing was the behavior of the employee who did not care to serve them. I don't often write bad reviews because we work in the same field and I know, but this particular employee was just...

The hotel is located just a few minutes' walk from the metro. The room was clean, modestly equipped, the pillows should be replaced, they are very thin. The bathroom is also ok, but it could use a shelf for toothbrushes, etc. There was a large selection of food and pastries for breakfast, the only reservation I have about scrambled eggs, it was tasteless mass. We came for breakfast at a different time every day, but it was still full of people, which surprised us. On Sunday, they ran out of clean forks, which the staff did not have time to replenish. We had to do without them. But what disappointed us the most was the level of wellness. The sauna is OK, we had two sauna sessions in it. But the same cannot be said about the jacuzzi. The water in it smelled (which I fully realized only after I got in it) and after turning on the light in the hot tub, you could see a strong cloudiness. Upon reporting to the front desk, the gentleman acted as if we made it up, claiming that the hot tub was cleaned every day. He finally apologized and considered it settled. When leaving the hotel, the lady at the reception asked about overall satisfaction. We mentioned the hot tub again, to which she responded with utter annoyance with a learned phrase about daily cleaning and then an even more annoyed apology. Dear friends, a hot tub that is cleaned every day looks different. All in all, the hotel is a good choice purely for sleepover, but don't expect anything more from it. If you are in the mood for wellness, you should rather pay extra for the quality...
