Very nice place. I recently enjoyed a short getaway with my family at this lovely apartment. The location was convenient, with easy access to public transport, a variety of shops, and several pubs/restaurants nearby. The availability of private on-site parking (for an additional fee ) was particularly beneficial, though it's important to note the height restriction of 2.1 meters. The apartment itself was great. It was clean, with a good-sized bed and shower. The apartment was well-equipped, including a kettle, fridge, microwave, dishwasher, and washing machine. However, it lacked air conditioning. During our stay, the weather was delightfully warm, with temperatures ranging from 26-31°C, making the absence of air conditioning quite noticeable. We encountered a minor inconvenience upon our arrival as the lift was out of order, necessitating carrying our luggage up to the second floor. Additionally, while the check-in process was generally smooth, we were required to fill out an additional form before/upon arrival. This was a bit unexpected as it hadn't been mentioned during the booking process. Clarifying this requirement beforehand, during the booking process, could help avoid such surprises. Overall, my experience was very positive, and I found it to be a great place to stay. I look forward to returning...
Read moreRead moreMe and 4 friends booked a stay with Limes Apartments for the 20th-27th of July. Unfortunately, due to COVID-19, the Czech Republic isn’t allowing tourists from the UK into the county. Because of this, our flight was cancelled and obviously we could not come. This is entirely due to Czech law. However, when contacting Limes apartments about this, they decided to keep the money for our £500 booking despite us being physically unable to come, and them not being allowed to take guests. A quick guide on Czech legislation informed us that hospitality businesses are inclined to refund their patrons, but limes have decided against this. Not pleased with this behaviour and due to being countries apart there is absolutely nothing we can do to get our money back. (Disclaimer: we booked non-refundable accommodation as we are students, and had every intention of going, but the Czech Republic denies UK tourists entry at this time and in this specific scenario we expected either a partial or full refund as it was in no...
We arrived at the apartments to a warm welcome from the receptionist and where shown to our room we had a twin room, double room, bathroom with shower and washing machine a separate room with toilet then a kitchen dining room with fridge freezer microwave and hob. |We would have liked a toaster but we managed to overcome this issue. |Both bedrooms had large tvs and ample storage space and armchairs.|There is a tesco metro in the next street and several restaurants in the area with one we found to be very good just up the street from the apartment called Mona Mia. |The old town is only a short tram ride away and can be accessed by a short walk up a street from the square thats found at the bottom of the street from the apartment |We found the room to be well equipped and generally very clean and I did move an armchair in the bedroom and find that it had not been cleaned behind as there was tufts of dust on the floor|Would definitely return to these apartments if in prague...
