Bach & Nurup — Restaurant in Aalborg Municipality

Wow. Just wow. I came for Lunch in late August. With my Kids. Not my usual choice for a restaurant like this but I needed a Nordic experience after weeks of holiday food!

They treated us like queen with kids the owners are crazy lovely and know what they doing to the deepest detail. They cared about us like family.

The Food- I went with the tasting menu which was a very enlightening. They made special dishes for the kids with so much effort.

I can highly recommend to visit Bach&Nurup this place warmed my heart.

I was fortunate enough to experience Bach and Nurup's fantastic restaurant in the heart of Aalborg.

I have only positive things to say about the place—everything from:

The attentiveness of Christian, Nadia, and the rest of the staff towards the guests.

The stories behind the dishes, which are delivered with the time and calm needed for guests to truly immerse themselves.

A high gastronomic standard, featuring exciting, innovative ideas and the über-finest ingredients.

A wine pairing (we ordered the 'classic') that was perfectly suited to my taste and harmonized beautifully with the dishes.

Virkeligt en træls oplevelse når det kom til servicen. Vi bestilte 2 af deres boller med ost. Vi havde tænkt det som en hurtig omgang så vi sagde at vi ikke ønskede drikkevarer men på trods af det var der hældt vand op til os, som vi drak af ren høflighed da det ikke skulle gå til spilde. (Der var ingen information at finde nogle steder om priser på vand i morgen menuen eller fra tjeneren, (ejeren)) Da vi så ville betale de 60 kr som vi skulle, gik der problemer med terminalen og jeg skulle så selv finde ud af at hun havde taget mig for 50 kr. Yderligere hvortil jeg så ytre mig om at dette måtte da være en fejl fordi vi kun havde bestilt de to boller, hun siger så at her hos os skal man altså betale for vanden når man ikke bestiller andre drikkevarer, hvilket vi jo godt forstår, men det var ikke informeret nogle steder eller på noget tidspunkt så vi havde tænkt det til bare at være en fin service. ( Det var helt almindelig postevand, uden nogle tilføjelser, og vi havde sagt at vi ikke ønskede noget at drikke til.) Jeg nævner så for hende at til en anden gang kunne det være fint at informere, når vi som sagt sagde vi ikke ønskede at bestille nogle drikkevarer. Og hertil kiggede hun bare på mig som om jeg var åndsvag... Og hvis vi havde bestilt andre drikkevarer havde det været gratis vand, og de andre drikkevarer var billigere end hvad...
