We visited the place Saturday evening, and had a very nice time. We all four chose the season and wine menu. The appetisers were very nice, the salmon starter was great - soft as butter. The main course was beef and for me the best dish of the night - tender and delicious. The dessert was good. Unfortunately the forgot our sides, so some of us left not feeling completely full. This is a shame when paying 475 for a set menu, that you need to top off with additional sides to get there. The waiters were nice, friendly and funny. I will definitely come back again. Had an amazing evening at Restaurant Novelle in Aarhus – honestly, one of those meals you won’t forget anytime soon.

Super tasty snacks – crispy croquettes and fun little bites that got our taste buds going. Starter was raw-marinated salmon in white currant. The main course was pan-fried ling with a rich, nutty brown butter sauce – cooked to perfection and packed with flavor. Nomelle is situated in a charming old building in Central Aarhus. However, the lighting inside is a bit dim, which, for us, detracted from the cozy atmosphere we were hoping for.

We opted for the 4-course chef’s seasonal menu and while food presentation was good and service was welcoming, we , unfortunately, found the flavors to be quite bland. The pricing was also on the expensive side.
