Okay drinks but worst service i have ever had. Grumpy and rude bartender who makes a fuss about ordering a soda without sugar. He ran after us claiming we didn’t pay even if our table was still full of people who are going to pay. Zero customer service, never again at this place.
**Update As i can’t comment on what he has said. Any normal place with the minimum customer service will try to solve the problem by simply apologizing for the rudeness but not here. The fragile, self centered bartender can’t take critics and claiming that i tried to run away from a 100 kr drink with my friends still sitting inside 😂 So immature and funny yet lacking courage as he could only talk badly about me after i left. My advice to him -instead of writing essays commenting on negative reviews and believing in conspiracy theories- hire someone to talk to people as you are pretty bad at it.
P.s Guna isn’t my gf and i don’t think she even heard me talking to you. She is another witness of your immature bad service but keep living in your own...
Read moreThis is hands down one of the best bars in Copenhagen, if not all of Europe, Dare I say, then entire world! I almost didn’t want to write this review because I don’t want to draw attention to this gem but I’m done holding onto my precious secret. I think it is one of the most world class one man shows, all done by the owner himself. I highly recommend the Bloody Mary. Coming from America where this drink is a staple, I have never again approached a Bloody Mary as delicious as the owner here makes it. He is always busy and welcomes in thirsty customers. I visited about two years ago and was impressed by how warmly and kindly he welcomed my sister and I for a night out and we still, to this very day, talk about Atze Peng all the time, dreaming of his drinks. I write this as I prepare to visit again this weekend in Copenhagen and I know I will be treated to a wonderful experience once again. Can’t wait!...
Read moreI have never experienced such rude and unbelievably arrogant service.
The bartender, who also seemed to be the owner, appeared to dislike us from the moment we walked in.
It felt less like a bar and more like we’d intruded into his personal space.
At one point, a glass suddenly shattered—likely from a temperature difference between warm glass and cold ice—and a fresh drink spilled everywhere.
Any typical bar might have offered a replacement, as it was an accident, but not here. Instead, we got some sarcastic remarks and angry looks despite our offer to help clean up.
To make matters worse, the bartender referred to one of our friends as ‘the annoying guy with the lisp’ and chased him down for payment, even though he had already settled the bill with the rest of us.
So here’s to the rude and arrogant bartender (without the lisp) 🥂 — we’ll be taking our business to other cocktail bars...
