Stempel - Bar & Kitchen — Restaurant in Copenhagen Municipality

I was just there an hour ago. I usually don't write reviews, but really just had a bad time and experience. I guess there is table service but there was no one paying attention. So I went in to get the menus, and also again to order, which I guess is fine. But they weren't busy.

However, I paid 300 DKK for four small drinks that were tipped to the rim with ice. Their smoothie is actually just a mango juice, overloaded with more ice. I just felt the place was lacklustre and a rip-off for the overall experience. The service wasn't there, even though she asked for a tip (which I respectfully rejected). The drinks are underwhelming. Tables are sticky as heck. I just felt like I spent 300 DKK to sit on some bench and drink ice. And the people I was with were also not impressed, which didn't create good vibes. I don't know… I would have liked to have spent that money somewhere else. :/

My family and I visited Stempl with the expectation of enjoying a delightful meal together. Unfortunately, our experience was overshadowed by an unfortunate incident. After ordering our food and beginning to eat, we unfortunately discovered hair in one of the dishes. Naturally, this made us uncomfortable, so I requested assistance from a waiter to handle the situation.

Unfortunately, I was met with a surprising reaction from the waiter, who instead of being accommodating and helpful, began to accuse me. He, wearing a cap and with a tall and slim figure, insinuated strongly that it was my own hair that had ended up in the food, and went so far as to suggest that I had deliberately placed it there to get more food. This aggressive approach to handling the situation left me both confused...

The atmosphere of the restaurant is super chill, the servers and chefs are welcoming. Thanks to chef COZ!! I went with a friend and we felt at home at all times. I never wanted to leave Stempel, least of all Copenhagen. The food was beyond delicious, well seasoned and cooked. Talk about variety in choices! You will never be disappointed at what is available for breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner or the breakfast buffet: eggs, bacon, salmon, burgers, wagyu beef, tuna/sushi, fajita, crepes, cheese, many fruits and alcohol baby!
