The place serves really good coffe, the service is excellent and the owner is a kind and loveable person. Most people gives the place 5 stars rating. Unfortunately there is a person who wants to harass and spite the place and the owner, motivated in this persons failure in making a trade with the owner. Today (July 24 2023) this person has managed to downgrade the rating for Bellas Coffe Lab, by sending false ratings from different emailaccounts, from different cities and lokations i Germany. This is very easy done and done by this same person, who has never, ever, been to Bellas Coffe Lab and had never had any thing served here. I know, I come to Bellas Coffe Lab every day and stay for a long time. He has never tasted the coffe. This person goes by the false names of Erol Arslan, Korhun Kurtcan,Alan Beski, Hergun (Berlin, Germany), Hergün (Hamburg, Germany), Hergun (Köln, Germany), Andreas Moeller (Germany), Stefano Aceti, ect., ect. Take ad notam that Google has not veryfied any of the names or emailaccounts. They are all false. Let the god spirit and the best man win. See you at Bellas Coffee Lab, soon, I...
Read moreFirstly, full disclosure: This is my local shop. I visit maybe five times a week, so I am slightly biased.
This is my favourite coffee shop in Copenhagen. Brunch and drink are both stellar, though keep in mind the food offering is only pastries and cheesecake. Baki and the team are really committed to treating the coffee right - roasting it themselves on site and brewing with care and skill.
The coffee is rotated weekly, being single origin from around the world with a heavy focus on South American and African growers. If you go around 11 AM on the right day, you'll get the smell of roasting all up on the space which makes the experiece even better. They also offer alternatives to espresso such as Turkish coffee, pour-over and french press.
The industrial style indoors doesn't keep it from being cozy, the staff is all wonderful and love being part of the team, and there's an extensive outdoor area if one wants to take the sun and enjoy the breeze. All in all, in my opinion, it is the best cup of Coffee in Copenhagen and more than worth the travel...
Read moreHad quite the Danish experience here. Went early, asked for Turkish coffee (with my Turkish wife), and was told “it may be a while, and if a lot of people show up I may have to cancel your order.” Weird, but sure, thanks for letting us know. There was one person that showed up in the next 10mins, so we were hopeful, and figured it was just taking some time. Then came the rush from the local convention center. The line started to stretch, but we were sure that he was finishing up our order— nope. The line started to move, and after another 20mins or so of watching people come and go with their coffee.. we got up to check (would’ve been very easy for him to wave us down, let us know it wasn’t going to happen, and allow us to have some other coffee..). Pretty bizarre. I think they offer Turkish coffee on the menu to profile people 😂 — but I’m giving you all a bonus star because the other coffee we enjoyed through the week was nice, but moreso because the really cool, taller Danish woman with piercing was a joy to talk to and watch do her...
