Bindia Østerbro — Restaurant in Copenhagen Municipality

We were a group of 20 or so people. We had prior to our dinner emailed the restaurant what our individual orders were. Once we arrived (this was our Prom night by the way) the restaurant staff asked everyone what they wanted to eat. So they had not pre-planned the night. We expected that the food would be on the table ready for everyone. We had around 1 and a half hours to eat. So the staff at Bindia then began preparing the food, and producing enough food for 20 or so people takes time. The food orders arrive in the worst possible order, some people getting their food immediately, and others waiting ages. Once everyone had finally gotten their main dish, we had 15 minutes to eat and pay. Additionally, on the online website, the menu doesn't specify whether or not the menu's are paid per person. Every single member of our dinner expected that we would order a menu, the menu would have to be shared due to its size, and it would cost a total of 250 - 400 kr depending on the menu. This was however not the case, each person had to pay 250 people each, even though they were sharing. And for the amount of money spent, the amount of food we got was such a disappointment. Never have I had a worse dining experience, and I would never recommend this place to anyone. We notified the staff there, and they became hostile and were not willing to listen to our arguments. All in all, it almost ruined...

We booked 5:30 and arrived 5:15, the manager give you the paper & a pen and said : look & check how to order. We order at 5:20 and also pay through their required mobile pay, wait until 5:35 got sms informed “ready to pick up 17:55” ? 😅🤦🏻‍♀️ We try to ask & verify with the manager (may be) if order placed ? He seems confused and told us just wait.

Then, 5:42 the table placed order just 3 mins, they got their food and I forced to ask another manager (may be), he try to check …. Then our meal arrived 5:45.

Food : Lamb — serve warm but no taste at all 🤦🏻‍♀️ Butter chicken — serve really warm and taste ok but over sweet. They put too many raisins(see the pictures), may be they adjust sweet version for Danish market ?

The bowls they serve really makes you feel uncomfortable as it shows & feel telling you “ ready to go” please 🤣🤣🤣🤣

The place also very noisy and staffs all are very stress especially the manager.

Really not recommend and you feel stress to eat there while table...

I and three of my friends planned to dine out this weekend. I recommended Bindia to my friends based on my wonderful first experience with Bindia. I love the way they greet their customers, they made us feel comfortable. The staff is very polite and friendly. While waiting for our order I had a great time telling one of my friends (who is not aware of Indian culture) about India while showing him the pictures which they have pasted on the walls. Honestly, I was a little concerned if my friends would like the food or not but it made me very happy to see that my friends loved it as well. It was very delicious as I expected. We ordered Butter Chicken, Chicken Tikka and Spinach Lamb with Rice & Naan. And the food was more than enough for all four of us. Their best this is that they are organic. And considering the quality & portion size its worth the price. Certainly, we all had a great evening, thank you Bindia. We all will be coming...
