Halifax Burgers Østerbro — Restaurant in Copenhagen Municipality

This is tough, I loved this spot. The service was great, and the atmosphere was pleasant, but the burger was... interesting. I went for the Lone Star, and if you've never had a non-mayo based BBQ sauce, I'm sure their BBQ marinade would have been fine. But I'm from the states, I travel a lot, and BBQ sauce from around the world is one of my favorite parts of trying new places whenever I'm abroad, but their BBQ marinade/sauce tasted like marinara sauce, which kind of ruined the burger. Unless you think a pizza flavored bacon cheeseburger is a great idea, I'd steer clear of the Lone Star burger. The burger was also wayyyyy too big, you can ask them for a smaller, or different patty, and I wish I did, but the standard size for the Lone Star was just too much. Again, without the BBQ marinade, the size of the patty might not be a drawback, but for me, the "BBQ" sauce and oversized patty just were not it. I'm changing hotels tomorrow and there's a different Halifax Burger restaurant near the next hotel, so I want to try that location and go for a different version of their burger to get a better idea of what...

I haven't tried the food yet. I was seated at my table more than 30 minutes ago. Now I just have a stop watch running to see how much more time it takes for someone working at this busy burger place to notice that I am sitting here and have yet to be served in any way apart from being seated. I am beginning to believe that in fact ai am invisible! Incredibly, a waitress eventually showed up and when I explained that I had been seated 45 minutes prior and no one had yet come she took this news and went off to talk to someone without taking my order. Five minutes later a different waitress showed up and asked intelligent questions about the situation and then took my order. I dunno. I feel like at the very least this place heavily discriminates against people who are dining alone. Maybe you should add a bar or something if you don't like serving people dining...

Context: we came on a Monday evening with a party of 6. Overall, everything was delightful, but they missed on the most integral part: the food, and therefore I cannot recommend this place. Take this with a grain of salt, maybe we just got unlucky.

3 of the orders were wrong the ground beef patty was well over "medium", it was dry and rough the food was served cold, it is apparent that the cooks were not able to synchronize our orders and left some dishes rest for way too long, thus resulting in the over-done and dry beef patty

Due to the chefs inability to produce great dishes consistently, and for this personal experience, I won't recommend this place.
