John&Woo Nordhavn — Restaurant in Copenhagen Municipality

I went there Thursday at 21:30hs, mainly to get something to eat. Apparently it’s weird eat dinner at that hour in Denmark. After I seated and asked for a burger, they told me the kitchen was closed. Ok fine.

Then I ordered two cocktails, i got the drinks and then after 10min the waiter walked around the tables, dropping the tickets without saying a word. Then she showed up again with the card machine, putting it on front of my face, saying anything, and with our drinks almost full.

Find someone who has the energy to actually work. Staff was desperate to leave. Specially the blonde waiter with botox. If you close the business at 23hs, don’t rush me when I’m getting a drink at 22hs while talking with my friend. It’s annoying.

Nothing special and anti-tourist/anti-foreigner

They seemed to have something against foreigners/tourists.

First time I tried to get something to eat they said that they were closed for food even though their website/Google does not say that.

Second time they had no seats inside so I sat outside but service was terrible and they didn’t turn the heaters on.

I think they would have preferred it if I had gone away again as they served me my starter and main at the same time.

The service improved when locals sat outside and they were served quickly and had heaters turned on. Several of the waiting staff walked past my table and ignored me.

The location is great, but food was so so. I had lobster bisque as starter which was super salty. I could not finish the dish even with the bread. I mentioned it to the waitress when she asked if I like my dish, then she just walked away without saying anything. Main dish was fine, the roasted veal was nice and tender, but the plate is not hot/warm. The meat turned cold very fast. I also ordered cheese plate, and the quality was not better than the ones from Netto… I like the atmosphere and location of the restaurant, unfortunately...
