Restaurant is only for danish language people. I cannot fault the food served at this place. It's just "correct". I don't think it's great, nor is it bad. If it was a fast food takeaway, it would be enough. But it's not. The service is chaotic, untrained and doesn't look after their guest. Each time a different waiter comes to you. This also happened when I asked for the bill. And for 15 minutes I didn't get any information as to why I didn't get it. I was ignored by the waiters. I finally got the answer that "the kitchen (yes, the kitchen) is very busy (the restaurant was almost empty) so they can't give me the bill. If I want to get the bill faster, I can go directly to the cash register." So I did and got the reply that "Danish language only. No English." He didn't want to give me the bill because I spoke English! I understand that someone can't speak English, but there is a difference between a lack of skills and an aggressive reluctance. I just wanted to pay for my meal and finally leave. I tried to ask the staff for the bill again but I got a brush-off again. I finally managed to get the Danish speaking waitress to ask for the bill at the counter. I never experienced such drastic treatment of a guest in a restaurant. So I don't recommend this restaurant for tourists but also for any other person. There is a lot of the better...
Read moreI started to come here quite often and as shown from the photos.....I have ordered the Turkish Kofte, homemade Yoghurt drink and an extra pita., the Iskender Kebab, the Vegetarian and Chicken grilled Shawarma, the lams stew. All are very very tasteful. Positives versus negatives. Positives: 1- The toilet is clean, beautifully designed and smells flowery, but lacks an inside hanger for your coat...etc. I hope the restaurant keeps it clean. 2- The food taste delicious, the red chili is perfect, homemade pita and homemade Ayran (Yogurt drink) 3- The restaurant is spacious, beautiful design, smells clean and modern music. The waiters were also very friendly and polite. 4- You can get a free Turkish tea after your order, but have to ask for it. 5- The staff has always been friendly and helpful and I usually do not finish my dish, so I pack it to go.
Negatives a little pricey, and serving just a half pita with the menu, is really not enough....there should be at least one pita cut...
Read moreThis used to be the best shwarma place in Copenhagen. Used to be. I wanted to order at the counter and the blond manager very impolitely refused me. I never realized this once amazing shwarma place has become a restaurant with table service and I was not told by the manager, the whole small argument with him created a very awkward situation. I have never met such a lack of service skills in my entire life
One of the employees tried to save the day and was very polite while trying to fix the manager's mistakes. The food was still better than average but the portions have become smaller.
When we left we had to pay at the exit which is also confusing because I believed we are getting table service. The manager guy was rude once again.
I see no point for visiting this once great place, i don't see why I would pay for bad service and bad attitude on behalf of the manager.
The worst part is that I was with friends to which I advertised this place as...
