Madam Bum — Restaurant in Copenhagen Municipality

I’be been a loyal customer for 2 years now and over time I’ve ordered takeout at Madam Bum over 40 times (yes, I get hooked on a food I enjoy). I usually order through Wolt and even though there have been a couple of times where my drink has been forgotten or where the peanut sauce gets spilled all over, I’ve never complained in the past.

Today the peanut sauce that comes with chicken satay had mold on it and it was the first time I raised a complaint and requested a refund.

Wolt contacted the restaurant and the management tried to claim that it’s not their sauce and basically refused to refund money.

After they claimed that the sauce was max 3 days old, but it takes a lot longer than that for food to be stored inappropriately for the mold to show.

After discussions, despite the fact that it was my first complaint ever after spending tons of money in this place, they refused a refund.

I am deeply dissapointed at how this place treats their loyal customers, especially when the fault was clearly theirs.
