ShaBaz — Restaurant in Copenhagen Municipality

I have never felt so disrespected in a café as I did today at this place. I walked in looking forward to a peaceful morning coffee and a piece of cake – but what I was served was absolutely disgraceful. Please see the attached photo: I was given a pathetic, rock-hard sliver of cake, barely a few millimetres thick. It looked like someone had cut off a leftover scrap and decided that was “good enough.” When the staff noticed I wasn’t exactly thrilled, one of them asked if I wanted more cake – I declined, because at that point, I just wanted to leave as quickly as possible. I would never serve something like that to my own customers – and the fact that they did says a lot about the attitude and values of this café. It’s deeply disappointing, and I will never return – not to this location, nor to any other branch of this chain. The coffee? Also presented in such an uninviting way that it made me not even want to drink it. I feel cheated, upset, and I absolutely do not recommend this...

Pretty much the same experience as Yamilas review. Walked in and we weren’t greeted by the two teenagers who were busy smalltalking, one of them boasting about how she was about to quit the job cus she couldn’t deal with it anymore, and her feet hurt lol. She had also photographed/stolen all the recipes and audibly talking about how she could just do whatever she wanted because it was her last shift… coming from the service industry myself, colour me shocked at the unprofessionalism of the staff in this establishment. Coffee smelled decent but after standing at the counter for 8minutes without being acknowledged I left again....

Sunday afternoon, I came in with my boyfriend, nobody greeted us, and we were standing literally 15min on front of the reception desk waiting for something happening. A few teenagers were talking between them, they looked at us and instead of say a word, they kept doing their thing. It’s a shame that a nice place like this one is loosing so much potential because employees can’t handle a group of people coming in at the same time and they can’t manage the situation and say at least “we are busy right now please take a seat”...
