We came here for our wedding dinner with a group of 10 people, all on different budgets. It's an unassuming restaurant with accommodating staff, a great menu concept and a fantastic chef. You can choose between 2, 3, 4 and 5 courses, and they are open to everyone ordering different things. We had the 4 course meal with cream of asparagus soup served with delicious freshly baked baguette and butter, the goats cheese tartın with perfectly roasted tomatoes, and the venison carpaccio with plenty of parmesan before the main course of beef, with roasted vegetables, mushrooms and a rich and flavourful jus. They were flexible with everyone ordering a different course option, and no-one was hungry while service covered different people at different stages. They were also kind with splitting the bill, and most importantly, they honoured the BYO wine without corkage, there were no hidden charges, and we all left 100% satisfied, and still talking about which of the courses were our favourites. The restaurant as itself did not seem charming at all coming in. We were there on dinning week, starter was goat cheese wrapped in some bacon. That's literally what you got, a block of cheese wrapped in bacon and some green stuff thrown on it. Seemed completely uninspiring. Main course, a casserole dish with beef and a dark sauce. Seasoning was not there, the beef was dry, and the potatoes, carrots served with it were completely not worth mentioning. The sauce was thinner than water, and again seemed like the chefs really didn't put much effort into the dish. Loved this Osterbro neighborhood restaurant. It is a BOYB restaurant. We brought two bottles of red wine. Mohammad is great! He was our waiter and chef and came into town for us as we were the only people in the restaurant. He used to cook for sailors / crew for major shipping boats. Great food and service at this restaurant. He was also able to cook to my needs as I need to be gluten free / corn free / mustard / and dairy free too.
