It's a cosy place and one eats well and can arrive hungry, but imo the high rating isn't justified given the high price. 3 of the 5 dishes of the 5 course I could have cooked better (the carbonara easily, it was not creamy nor interesting and the pasta was probably homemade but imo not as enjoyable as industrial spaghetti, the steak with effort--it was well prepared but lacked any kind of salt and pepper and the sauce was only okay, the veggies bad; the mousse au chocolat is almost impossible to get that bad - taste and consistency were both off. Made a reservation via Google as we didn't want to be in front of a full restaurant. The friendly waitress realised that it must be us who booked online. With her friendly smile, she offered us 2 different tables. The place is not too big, very authentic. The food is unique, as if cooked by the Nonna herself with much love. My request not to pour expresso over the ice cream was accepted without a problem, and I was happy to accept the suggestion to enhance the homemade vanilla ice cream with caramel and crumble. I'd be happy to come back any time. I've never had a bad meal or unfriendly service...

Fantastic quaint Italian restaurant! The location is easy to commute to with plenty of public transport options available. Interior is rustic and well spaced for the number of patrons seated in the restaurant, which all made up for an authentic and cosy experience. We were moved by the quality of the dishes and plentiful of scents from each plate.
