We adventured Frederiksberg and stumbled upon Sweetway. We ordered their halo-halo along w/ the Dubai + Red Velvet cookie, and everything was absolutely delicious and delicately made. Ate, was super generous and welcoming. The atmosphere itself has this nostalgic charm—right beside a buzzling city road, it somehow feels both lively and cozy at the same time. Forget love at first sight, this was love at first bite of Sweetway pastries. The halo-halo was the perfect refreshment! Taste? - balanced and not overly sweet. The combination of leche flan and what I believe was ube biko (ube sticky rice) added a unique flavor and rich texture that brought the whole dessert together in harmony. There were varieties of delicious cookies which was in fact delish and yummy, like literally entering the café was filled with that irresistible fresh bakery aroma. Both the Dubai and Red Velvet cookies were packed w/ choc and cream chees that contrasts the sweetness.

I got a busy work schedules and live far from the city center but due to my cravings, I decided to order in Sweet Way through delivery — and it was a great experience! My order got delivered at my workplace on time and as expected. Although one item was unavailable, but the owner personally called and offered a replacement along with a complimentary treat 😊
