Casa Veintiuno Boutique Hotel Restaurant — Restaurant in La Hispaniola

PERFECT GET-AWAY! For our honeymoon, we chose Case Vientiuno, and we cannot wait to return. The property is secluded yet within walking distance of the beach and to the center of Sosua (where night life, bars, restaurants, the bank, shops, and markets can be found). When we arrived, the owners, Saskia and Marc were so welcoming. Marc had found gluten free breads for meals for us, and Saskia drove us into town to show us which vendors to visit, where to exchange money, where a more private and shaded beach could be found, where to find inexpensive transportation to other cities, and where the super market is located.

The property at Casa Vientiuno is fantastic. The rooms and amenities are so open, modern, and spotless. The cleaning and restaurant staff are also very kind! Additionally, there is a great view of the ocean and sunset from the roof which was great for photography.

While everything else was truly excellent, the food at Casa Vientiuno was the pinnacle. The breakfasts were excellent, but dinner at their restaurant downstairs was something special. From lavish presentation to fresh and delicious proteins and flavors, we were definitely spoiled.

We cannot wait to return to Casa Vientiuno and to see their newest property addition and wellness center coming March of...

Casa 21 is like no other place we’ve lived at-it’s the most personable and memorable stay ever. Before we even got to the place, there were so many details shared regarding our stay. From the minute we entered, Saskia and Marc made sure that we had everything we needed to ensure that our stay was comfortable. We had early morning excursions on some days and Saskia and Marc insisted on accommodating us by serving breakfast well before the restaurant’s opening time, so that we were not hungry and tired during the day. The food and cocktails were very fresh and we had most of our meals at Casa21. They even paid attention to my allergies and asked us about our dietary requirements well before we arrived. We could see that the room had lots of attention to detail, from the bath robes and flip flops to the body products and sustainable sanitary disposable bags. They also have two very friendly and adorable dogs. We were here on our engagement trip and had the best time. We look forward to returning back down the line just so we can experience casa21 once again. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a place with happy vibes with excellent...

I don’t usually write reviews on Tripadvisor, but I just had to share our family's experience with Casa Ventiuno. Casa Veintiuno just blew us all away! This 3-room boutique hotel is a real jewel in the Caribbean, with its own pool, sunning areas and unique balconies. You are just a short walk to the beach and town, but it still feels like your own private getaway... especially since we took all three rooms on the property. The property is gorgeous, the rooms are spotless, and the food? Easily some of the best we’ve had in the Caribbean. This is the only place in the DR I feel comfortable ordering green salads; the kitchen cooks to the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation. The restaurant is so good that we ate all of our evening meals there, in addition to the complimentary breakfast.
