Loretta Café Bistro — Restaurant in Santo Domingo

My experience wasn't the greatest as my girlfriend and I were offered seats outside only after the hostess stated there were no seats inside. I noticed there were unoccupied seats inside and she said they were reserved. Not wanting to sit outside in the hot weather, we decided to leave and go to another restaurant and the hostess stopped us then started she would find us seats. Once we were seated inside and noticed things like 1 person seated at a table for 6, the service was great from our server. The food was good also. The mimosa was strong and I recommend it if you visit, but I will not recommend this restaurant especially if seating staff choose to treat dark skinned people differently. Money can be easily spent else where and I will not...

Bad experience:

Not attended to upon walking in and had to walk to bar so we could ask where to sit. Waitress rushed us, and when asked questions only said "look at the menu". Nothing on the menu is healthy -- not even the salads, and of course when I asked to add chicken to a salad the waitress said "not possible". Everyone had cocktails and spritzers but they weren't on the menu and the waitress never listed out specials. We arrived after a yoga class for brunch on Sunday and feel like the staff possibly didn't attend to us kindly because of our dress - very unprofessional considering we used outdoor seating at 1 pm at a casual bistro.

Unfortunately, we paid for our water and walked out. I will not return and I do...

Recientemente celebré mi cumpleaños en este restaurante, soy una clienta frecuente, y nunca había evidenciado tan mal servicio en mi vida. Tenía una mesa de 15 personas, al pedir que me añadieran otra, me respondieron con actitud arrogante y con un no (el restaurante estaba completamente vacío, y el mesero no permitía añadir otra mesa, 5 invitados parados y ni así...) La noche entera los meseros respondían con sarcasmo y con comentarios fuera de lugar. Tanto así que al finalizar la cena, uno se nos acerco y nos dijo:" y entonce, pa'cuando se van". Prácticamente nos sacaron del restaurante y nos dejaron afuera en plena lluvia.(FOTO ABAJO)

Estoy indignada con este trato INACEPTABLE, tuve la peor experiencia y en mi cumpleaños. Me perdieron como cliente y también a los 20 invitados que presenciaron este trato INTOLERABLE. I recently celebrated my birthday at this restaurant, I am a frequent customer, and I had never seen such poor service in my life. I had a table of 15 people, when I asked for another table, they responded with an arrogant attitude and with a no (the restaurant was completely empty, and the waiter did not allow me to add another table even though he saw my guests without any seats).
