Nacionsushi Piantini — Restaurant in Santo Domingo

This was the first time we went with my family of #7 to this restaurant recommended by my niece. I wish I could give a ZERO for costumer service. The food was good but prices are high. The service was horrible by ENRIQUE we had to remind him a couple times to take the order of our drink and food. He brought drinks after the food and messed up my daughter's order. When we told him he brougt wrong order of poke roll, he gave us a nasty attitude and facial expression he say "You order the poke bowl". I would not recommend this place. What hurt me the most they included the tip he got on the total bill. He don't care if he gave a bad service he knew he was going to get a very good tip we spend like almost $11,800 pesos almost $220 dollar. FAVORITE SUSHI SPOT EVER! I really mean it! This is a absolutely a beautiful place and even better food! This price is okay, it’s not too pricey nor cheap, just right.

The venue itself is absolutely beautiful there’s such a great mix of architecture and design. It’s in Piantinni and it’s really breathtaking!

The service was great I don’t have anything I can complain about at all! We had a male Venezuelan Server, from Arabic decent with lots of tattoos (I forgot his name lol). He was awesome and super on point! He got all our orders right and the service was super fast and impressive. I really don’t know how they do it.

The menu itself is a whole book, it’s definitely not just Sue she does a lot more options of a great food. I’ll be tasting more options and updating this review.

Great decor & environment with various different rooms in two floors. The place has VERY scarce parking spaces and it’s located in a busy street, which makes parking on street even harder. There is valet parking, though. The menu is very big so choosing a dish will not be an easy task. To make it easier for you, I do not recommend the rice-based dishes. They are no better than something you’ve had before and in my experience, tasted bland. The waiter agreed with me, so there’s a consensus. What I do recommend are the sushi rolls. They are big, tasty and creatively thought of. Generally speaking, portions are big, probably one of the biggest among Asian restaurants in the country.
