We tried coffee, chocolate, "espumilla", "helado de paila" and empanadas, but gonna talk about it in a bit.
Everything was nicely served and the "cucurucho" experience with the ice cream was great and different. We loved it. It's served in a steamy plate that mimics a magic potion. You have to take a picture of it. Plus, the presence of a beloved character in Quito's culture, it's an awesome mix.
The only complaint was empanadas. Too greasy, the dough was too thick so they felt heavy. We ordered the "de viento" empanadas plus the general order of four, which comes with a variety of them.
