I have passed by this place several times and knew about it from a friend but never tried it personally, so we decided to go here mainly because they serve moro. We wanted to try the steak but with moro, as served in Ecuadorean coastal cities.
The lomo is so good and tender. The chicken is dark meat, and probably one of the best I’ve tried. The sauces are very nice, the chimi specially. And the moro in itself deserves 5 stars… it was sooo good!
Price wise the place is fair, the atmosphere is cute, comfortable, the girlfriend and I felt very comfortable, at home, it’s stylish without being pretentious. You can see the grill from the tables as it is located in the outside of the kitchen, yet no smokey inside, so overall it pretty well...
Read moreSo happy I found this place without reading any of the reviews. Everything we had was delicious. In terms of service it was one of the best we experienced in Quito. The cuts did not come overcooked, they were very tender and quite tasty even the chimichurri wasn’t overpowering. Unfortunately I am not sure I would recommend the Ecuadorian wines they have on their menu as the Merlot wine was definitely not smooth. Perhaps the vintage isn’t the right one. Read moreExcellent service and food! Their menu has a lot of quality items. From beef cuts to grilled salmon and burgers. Their outdoor dining area is very cozy and modern, even though it's located on a busy Avenue, they did a great job creating a private space for dining using plants in the perimeter of the outdoor area.
We ordered a beef cut and it was cooked exactly to what we ordered. The chinculines were tasty and crunchy. It was a great choice as appetizer.
