This place is such a delight to all your senses, let me begin by the atmosphere, since the very minute you arrive, a valet will take care of the tedious parking job for you, then you will be guided into their own external space filled with locally and organic grown food, which is carefully picked and used in most of the dishes.
I must mention that they really took their time into designing this restaurant, every single detail of their spaces had been meticulously selected and thought thru to ensure harmony between the whole experience.
Moving into the service, we were welcomed by a warm smile and a very friendly staff who immediately accommodated us and catered to our needs during the whole experience, their author cocktails were a great addition to their cuisine and flavors, personally preferred their cocktails over the wine pairing.
The food was completely amazing, every flavour is ubique in its own way, being able to see the artist chef working his magic close to the tables adds a personal note to each dish and strengthen the bond between the volcanic rock grill and every flavour delivered to your table.

My Spanish is not great, but I understood enough that based on looking at me, the staff told me I couldn’t sit. There were plenty of open tables. My eyes began to swell with tears, as everyone stared at me, and all I could muster to respond was ‘Por que’ the manger/host just simply pointed to the door and the security guard opened the door for me motioning me to leave.
I thought, is it what I’m wearing? Do I look poor? Why wouldn’t they let me dine there? The only reason I can think of is I’m black and this is clearly racism. I was wearing heels, dress pants and a sweater and my curly hair was out. It’s embarrassing that I even have to prove I was dressed appropriately. I cried the whole walk home trying to think of what I did to not be welcomed. Again, there were several...

Everything from the atmosphere, drinks, food presentation, colors, textures, freshness and taste were done to perfection. Ana took care of us and did an outstanding job - very helpful that she spoke such great English, super friendly, and very knowledgeable of the restaurant. Would highly recommend Foresta to any and all who are in Quito. Can’t wait...
