Praha Cafe — Restaurant in Al Hadaba

Well, I thought it would be a great place for beer and a snack, but I was wrong. Been there two times already, and both were the same..

So, my friend ordered a goulash soup, he said it was cold, and they forgot about meat in that soup. Not slovian type then.

My wife ordered a chicken salad, chicken was burnt to a char. Or else, there are black chickens in Egypt, what I doubt..

And last but not least - I ordered a simple tost, it should taste great all over the world, but not in Egypt.. Just check a photo. Not recomended, and the price is a joke for that some kind of dry bread.

The only pros is the draft beer, tasted really good, except - of course - the foam to beer ratio was around 50% 😞 but again, what could You expect in Egypt.

This restaurant is very poor, and the management's treatment of non-Czech people is extremely racist. I experienced this myself — I am Egyptian, and my friends are Polish. We were clearly not welcomed. We were treated badly just because I wanted to write our names, like other guests do.

But the short, dark-skinned manager (I don’t know his name) embarrassed me and asked if I or my friends were Czech. I told him I’m Egyptian and my friends are Polish. He replied that we are not allowed to do that — even though we were paying the same bill like any other customer (the prices are the same).

The food was awful — I would rate the quality 0 out of 10. We barely ate anything, and no one asked or cared, no feedback was taken. I don’t recommend this restaurant to anyone who is not...

The first and last time! Long waiting time for food, dishes very small, quality not good and way too expensive. You have to check very carefully what you order. Without any mentioning they serve you side dishes you never ordered and the price in the menu is only meat. So, a meal of 130 LE in the menu is suddenly 220 LE and you don't get any information when you order. After eating all 4 of us were still hungry. None of us will ever come back or recommend it to anyone!

If you want to pay with egyptian card they charge you 10%, never ever had this before!
