A Hidden Gem in Cairo – Healthy Food Lovers, Rejoice! 🌟🌿
This place is an absolute gold mine in Egypt — and I don’t say that lightly. Tucked away inside the Gezira Club by the swimming pool, I never expected to find a spot that serves truly healthy, wholesome snacks without compromise. Like many, I usually just settle for coffee or juice because I could never find anything that wasn’t processed, oily, or fried — until now.
From the moment I tried their baked falafel with hummus, I was honestly in shock — it was that good. Crispy, light, delicious, and absolutely gentle on the stomach. They also offer a brown bread falafel wrap that is a total game-changer. I’ve always avoided falafel in Cairo because of the heavy oil, but this place has given me falafel back!
And let’s talk about drinks — their avocado smoothie is rich and satisfying, and they have almond milk and oat milk options for anyone who avoids dairy (like I do). Every ingredient tastes fresh, high quality, and carefully selected.
They also deliver through Talabat, and the prices are surprisingly affordable for the quality you get. Honestly, they deserve way more attention. They’re the true definition of a word-of-mouth success — and they absolutely deserve to be known far and wide.
If you care about what goes into your body, if you want food that fuels you and makes you feel good — this is the place. I truly can’t recommend them enough. 🌱✨
Need to improve the explanation of ingredients through the waiters. Otherwise, use the talabat app....
Read moreI visited Babbos Eats during Ramadan around 1 AM, not really hungry but just looking for a drink and some desserts. Unfortunately, we were informed that their policy requires us to order Sohour, which costs 2000 LE per person. While we weren’t looking for a full meal, this was a bit disappointing. On the positive side, the place is nicely decorated, with some interesting art pieces on the walls, creating a pleasant atmosphere. However, the strict policy and pricing left us feeling a bit frustrated. Overall, it’s a nice spot, but the pricing and policy might be a turn-off for those just wanting a light...
Read moreAn old factory that they have beautifully revived, food 5+ out of 10, nice music but terrible speakers, as terrible light design. everything in the restaurant is for sale (5 times the usual prices but not my cup of tea). What is my cup of tea is that we ate a set menu of eggs, falafel, dipping sauces and salads… for 2500 egp (50euros). Planty of places in down town where you get even better food for 500 egp. Our fault as we did not pay too much attention of the info sent out, but we sometime is sure.. we won’t get scammed a second time....
